A/N: Mentioned of drugs and alcohol. Underage drinking

I was in the back seat of the red convertible looking up at the dark night sky. We were in a big city, so the stars weren't visible at all. Luckily the warm crispy breeze of summer made up for it.
"Aren't you glad you're finally out of your room?" My brother tried to cheer me up from the front seat as I rolled my eyes at his dumb question.
I graduated from UA two months ago, which means I have been in California for two months now. Two months in a new country, new people, and still heartbroken from my break up with Shota. All I've been doing is crying and binge watching sad romance shows. I talk to my friends from back home here and there, but I'm mostly either crying to watch what I'm watching or sleeping.
"I think this little get together will help you. You'll be meeting all the pro-heroes that will be at the meeting next week. I can't wait for you to get back to training so the both of us can start to battle evil together!" All-Might raises his fist in his air as our driver David laughs at his tactic.
"Let one of us know if you get tired and we can head home." He adds on.
We finally arrived at a fancy gated community and my eyes quickly landed on the only light up house with loud music blasting through the open windows.
"I thought this was a small gathering, not a house party." I eyed my brother.
"You can park here. Come on, let's join the rest of the people!" He tells David, ignoring my comment.
"Hey we're over here guys!" A blonde man waved down my brother and his friend over to his group. I dragged behind them, already wanting the conversation to be over before it even started.
"Guys, this is my sister Michelle!" He pulls me in front of him as he rests his hands on my shoulder.
"She will be joining our meeting next week and she will start training soon, so she can join us patrolling the city!" He looked so excited and sounded so proud of me. I wish I can match his enthusiasm.
"Michelle this is.." He started to introduce the group of people in front of me that smelled like alcohol and skunk, but honestly I didn't care to remember their names nor quirks. Just giving a fake smile and constantly repeating, "nice to meet you!"
"Oh and I can't forget my favorite charming mysterious guy! This Bruno. His quirk is teleportation." All-Might pull the tall shaggy black hair man into a side hug. He was a tan, very muscular guy. Probably a bit older than my brother due to his 5 o'clock beard. Sleep. The guy definitely needed to catch some sleep. He looked tired and was unamused by Toshi's energy. Reminding me of someone who I miss back home. Definitely more on the quiet side, and it's rare really for shy people to like Toshi due to his outgoing personality.
"This man here- Oh god! He has taught me so much! He will definitely be your biggest help!"
"Hey Toshinori! Someone is challenging us for beer pong! Let's get going!" David comes in and drags him away. Leaving Bruno and I behind.
"You're definitely mixed. Japanese and-" Bruno took a sip of his drink, waiting for me to finish his sentence.
"Mexican. My mom was Mexican and my father was Japanese." I put my hands in my hoodie pocket,as I started fidgeting with my fingers.
"Come with me." he starts walking inside the house. I didn't want to stay outside with some drunks, Toshi left me already, so might as well follow this stranger. I followed him into the kitchen where I saw him pour some juice from a bowl into a red plastic cup, and he handed it to me.
