The Maheshwari mansion was silent, save for the occasional creak of the old wooden floors.

Giriraj had summoned everyone to the grand hall.

The atmosphere was tense, and everyone sat in uneasy anticipation, unsure of what was to come.

Giriraj, with his imposing presence, stood at the center of the hall.

His eyes scanned the room, ensuring he had everyone's undivided attention.

Finally, he spoke, his voice cold and commanding, "Aaj se 3 din baad, Shruti ki shaadi hai."

The statement hung in the air like a death sentence.

It wasn't a question or a proposal; it was an edict.

Shock rippled through the room, hitting Shruti, Kalindi, and Sambhav the hardest.

Brijraj, too, was taken aback, his gaze shifting to Shruti, who was on the verge of tears.

Sambhav, unable to contain his disbelief, stepped forward. "Lekin papa, itni jaldi kya hai? Ladka kaun hai, kaisa hai, kya karta hai, yeh sab bhi toh pata hona chahiye. Plus, Shruti abhi choti hai."

Giriraj's eyes narrowed, his gaze icy as he looked at his son. "Maine kisi se poocha nahi hai. Apna faisla sunaya hai, so taiyaari shuru karo."

His voice boomed through the hall, and everyone flinched, especially Shruti, who felt a wave of helplessness wash over her.

Brijraj watched his daughter's reaction, discomfort gnawing at him.

Kalindi's face was etched with sorrow, fearing her daughter would suffer the same fate she had.

Sambhav clenched his fists, his anger and determination rising.

He couldn't stand by and watch his sister's life be sacrificed.

He was determined to protect her, no matter the cost.

As Giriraj left the hall, Brijraj noticed the evil smirks on his mother and sister's faces.

Suspicion and anger churned within him, and he decided to confront his brother.

In the study, Giriraj was going through some documents when Brijraj entered, his face a mask of concern. "Bhaisahab, yeh sab kya hai? Shruti ki shaadi itni jaldi aur kis se?"

Giriraj didn't look up. "Kunal Khandelwal se."

Brijraj's shock was palpable. "Lekin bhaisahab, vo Shruti se umar mein bahut bada hai. He is almost 40 years old, and his character is not good."

Giriraj finally met his brother's eyes, his expression indifferent. "So what? Uska bank balance hamari company ke liye bahut beneficial hai. Aur vaise bhi, Shruti ka dana paani yaha se uthane ka time aa gaya tha. Yaad hai na, maa ne samjhaya tha ki ladki ki shaadi samay par kar deni chahiye, varna haath se nikal jaayegi. Get ready. Shruti ke baad, Riya ka number hai."

Brijraj felt as though cold water had been splashed on his face.

He knew he had failed as a father, but he couldn't stand the thought of his daughters being condemned to such a fate.

Determination set in. He wouldn't let this happen to Shruti, or to Riya and Jiya.

Leaving the study, Brijraj was resolute. He had to stop this marriage, no matter what it took.

He couldn't allow his daughters to suffer in silence, not when he knew he had the power to change their destiny.

As he walked back to the hall, he vowed to fight for their freedom and happiness, even if it meant going against his brother.
