[AFTER LIFE OFFICE]

"Sunoo, are you okay?" Heeseung asked.

Sunoo's face appeared pained. "No, but I have a bad feeling," Sunoo admitted.

"Is it as dangerous as that day?" Heeseung inquired with concern.

"No, not like that, but it's a weird feeling," Sunoo replied with a heavy sigh.

"I think you should leave," Heeseung suggested.

Sunoo looked at his friend, realizing he was probably right. Sunoo nodded.

"Even if you try to hide, I can still see you from miles away, baby. You're going to regret this," Ricky said, gripping the steering wheel tightly, his anger reaching its peak. He had been watching them since they left the café. He had tracked Wonyoung's phone. and stepped on the accelerator as hard as he could. Without a second thought, he sped straight towards Sunghoon, who was waiting for a taxi.

Sunghoon's eyes widened in shock as Wonyoung's desperate shout pierced the air, "Oppa!" In the split second before Sunghoon could collide with the car, Jay threw himself into the path, pushing Sunghoon out of harm's way.

The world erupted in a deafening crash, and then everything went black. It felt as though time itself had stopped. When Sunghoon came to his senses, he found his friend sprawled lifelessly on the road. Panic surged through him as he stumbled to Jay's side.

"Jay... Jay -ya, get up," Sunghoon pleaded, his voice breaking, tears streaming down his face. "Please, Jay, get up." He cradled Jay's motionless body, clutching him tightly as he sobbed uncontrollably. "Jay-yaaaaaaa, please, don'tdothistome," he begged, his voice choked with anguish. The onlookers gathered around, their pity palpable, but none could ease his torment.

In that frozen moment, as if time itself had stalled, Sunghoon heard a familiar voice. "Sunghoon," it called gently. Looking up, he saw Sunoo-his love, his anchor. The sight only deepened his sorrow. "He's gone, like my mom," Sunghoon murmured in despair, his eyes locked with Sunoo's, unable to stop the tears that flowed freely.

Sunoo's gaze shifted from Jay's lifeless form to Sunghoon, who was barely holding himself together. "Sunghoon, make a wish," Sunoo urged, his tone grave yet filled with hope.

Sunghoon looked up, bewildered. "Wish for his life," Sunoo said urgently. "Do it now."

"But you can't..."

"Just do it," Sunoo insisted, his eyes pleading. "Nothing else matters. Please, Sunghoon."

Sunghoon's breath came in ragged gasps as he tried to steady himself. With trembling hands and a heart weighed down by grief, he closed his eyes tightly, tears streaming down his face.

"I wish," he whispered fervently, "please, give Jay his life back."

"Everything will be alright," Sunoo assured Jay as he gently touched his forehead.

"Uguuuuuuhhhhhh," Jay exclaimed, opening his eyes and struggling to catch his breath. Gradually, the surroundings came back into focus, and he could hear the voices of the people around him.

"It's a miracle."

"He's alive. Thank God," the crowd cheered.

"Someone, call an ambulance!"

"Jay-yaaaaa," Sunghoon cried out as he embraced Jay tightly.

"What's happening?" Jay asked through the pain. "I can't move my legs." He attempted to move them, but they remained unresponsive. "My legs won't move!" Jay yelled. Sunghoon looked around for Sunoo, but he was nowhere to be found.

"Please try to stay calm, Jay. Someone, please call an ambulance," Sunghoon urged.

"It's on the way, son," a bystander reassured them.

WONYOUNG'S POV:

"Oppaaaaaa.....". I screamed as loud as I could, but it was too late. Within a split second, it was all over. "It's all because of me," was the only thought running through my mind. Before I could reach them, Ricky emerged from his car and was struck by a light pole. He headed straight toward me with blood covering his body. Then he pulled me towards him with an unrelenting grip. I was powerless to resist his strength as he dragged me. I felt lost and helpless. As he pulled me away, I looked back at Sunghoon, who was crying and holding onto Jay tightly; gradually, a crowd gathered around them, concealing them from my view. Tears streamed down my face. "I don't deserve you guys."

"Jay-yaaaaaaaaaa... my baby... what happened? Doctor, is he okay? Tell me!" Jay's mother cried out, tears streaming down her face.

"Please..." the doctor motioned to Sunghoon to hold her back, but she pushed his hands away.

"If something happens to my son, I swear I'll end you," she threatened Sunghoon before storming off. Sunghoon, shaken and frightened, collapsed under the weight of her words.

[FAST FORWARD]

Sunghoon was jolted awake by Jay's mother throwing water at him. He quickly got out of bed, realizing he had fainted.

"Aunty... he's all right now," Sunghoon said, trying to reassure her.

"All right? You son of a... he can't run, not even walk!" She began to punch Sunghoon, but her husband intervened.

"What do you mean?" Sunghoon gasped, tears welling up in his eyes. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. "But Sunoo saved him," he thought.

"What do you mean? Did you want to kill my son too, after killing your mother?" she screamed. "You know how he cried. His dreams, his future-everything is ruined. You're a curse to this world!"

"I know it's my fault, but don't bring my mom into this, Aunty," Sunghoon said, his tone serious.

"Why can't you accept the truth? I will never forgive you. I curse you-get lost!" she yelled, her pain evident. No one could blame her for her anguish. Sunghoon ran to find Jay.
