Cecelia's POV
I lay in my hotel bed all night, the thought of Jackson kissing me still on my mind. I already miss the way his lips feel on mine. I would run back down the hallway and see him again, but I'm expecting my parents at the door tomorrow morning for a celebratory breakfast, and I have to go to bed. But I can't. My heart is pounding out of my chest. It has been all week. From the nerves, excitement, and from the love I have for Jackson Olson.

I wake up the next morning to my alarm, and it shocks me, for once in my life. I get up, realizing I have two hours until my parents are going to take me to breakfast. I get out of my bed and brush my hair out, I wonder if Jackson is awake. I pick my phone up off of the side table and call him. It rings for a bit, before I hear...
"Cecelia?"
"Come to my room real quick."
Without any hesitation, he hangs up. I smile, making sure my hair looked nice before I heard him knock on the door. I open it to find him in a Taylor Swift T-shirt with the sleeves cut off, black shorts, and, surprisingly, no hat on.
"I was going to go to the gym," he says, shrugging a bit. I let him into my room before shutting the door. "You missed me that much?"
"Maybe. Or maybe I just need your help picking out an outfit for me to wear today..."
Jackson rubs his hands together, a big smile on his face, "Alright, I'm in!" He says excitedly. He sits down on the bed, "Whats on the agenda for today?"
"Breakfast with my parents, tourist-y things with Lola... then a date with you."
A date was never brought up before, "Are you asking me out on a date?"
"No, actually, I'm forcing you to go on a date with me."
"Wow. So direct. You're still on top of the world after those races."
"Of course I am!"
My confidence levels are through the roof right now. Life could not be going better for me. I made the U.S Olympic Swim Team, I'm in love with Jackson Olson and he loves me back... nothing can beat what I'm feeling right now. I dig through my suitcase to find some clean clothes. I put the bits and pieces down on the bed beside Jackson, who makes me smile just from existing. When I lay a shirt, or shorts, or even a dress down he carefully takes the time to examine each one.
"You have a great sense of fashion," Jackson tells me as I walk towards him on the bed. For the first time in a week, I stop dead in my tracks. I might be riding on a wave of confidence, but I realize just how nervous I am to be in love again. Jackson instantly notices as the wheels are turning in my head, "What's wrong?"
I blush a bit, turning my gaze away from him. What I want to do doesn't feel right in this situation. I realize that it has truly been forever since I've felt this way, and it's terrifying. Jackson stands up and I swallow my nerves, but I feel the need to shake out my hands because the nerves still remain. He takes my hands gently and inches me back towards the bed, sitting back down exactly how he was before. He gives me an encouraging smile, before I give a shaky breath and sit down on his lap, wrapping my legs around him and facing him. He immediately wraps his arms around my back and pulls me in for a kiss. I wrap my arms around his neck, wishing our bodies could be closer despite already being pressed together. I love the way his lips feel on mine, I can feel him smile during every little pause. We pull away, and the smile on his face softens, "Cecelia... do not be afraid of me."
"I'm not afraid of you," I say as I leave his lap and stand back up. We both look back at the pile of clothes beside Jackson, "Now pick out some clothes for me."
Jackson takes the time to review my clothes, before picking out a slim-fitting black dress for me. It's sleeveless, and I've worn it before. It does all kinds of good for my hips. I smile at his selection, he definitely knows too.
"This will look fantastic on you," he says happily. I take the dress from his hands and walk to the bathroom, changing into what Jackson had picked out. When I come back out, Jackson is mesmerized by me.
"Don't admire, I'm not even wearing makeup."
"You don't need to."
I sit down at the desk and gently apply some mascara, blush and highlighter, because that's all I feel like doing. I turn back to Jackson, who has been watching me this whole time.
"Now you can admire."
He stands up and comes over to me as I'm sitting down on the chair. He examines my face intricately, before squatting down to meet my eyes and kissing me again. After a quick kiss, he gets up and offers his hand, which I use to get out of the chair. He brushes my hair out of my face, a big smile appearing on his face.
"I'll see you later, Cecelia," he says, before letting go of my hand and walking out of my hotel room. He just left me wanting more. So much more.
