Ben had met Lia at an annual party of their company.

A stunning lady wearing a seductive red dress defining her alluring figure with gorgeous wavy black hair lying on her shoulders, she seemed like an ethereal beauty straight out of a painting that was delicately yet finely made bearing an elegance of superiority. However, despite her unique aura, she didn't seem to attract anyone's attention apart from Ben.

Ben felt everything around him suddenly become quiet as if he had inexplicably stepped into a world where only he and that beauty existed.

Ben Davies, who was a top rated actor having numerous awards in his hands, started his career to stardom as a child star. His position in the entertainment industry was deeply rooted and was admirable even though he was only in his late twenties. Almost everyone at the party had either worked with him or had known about him and had a favorable impression of him. Renowned directors and producers were flocked together around him, desperately hoping for cooperation with him as they flattered him restlessly. Such popularity wasn't just because of his acting; it was also due to the fact that he owned a business vast enough that he was capable of funding his own works.

In between all that bootlicking, Ben had started to feel annoyed. The moment his eyes fell on Lia, he couldn't help being stunned. That extremely charming lady, who didn't seem to know him, was quite interesting to him.

As simple as interest would turn into obsession, that was something he surely couldn't have imagined.

Lia Wilson had debuted only two years ago. This extraordinarily beauteous face had stepped into the industry quite mysteriously. She was a bit younger than Ben and had a meek temperament when associating with people. She didn't have much popularity after her debut series had aired due to being an unnoticed supporting character. However her next series that was called 'Fly' was a major breakthrough in her popularity among the viewers. Despite having a minor role, it didn't go unnoticed as before. The role of a girl who worked hard without rest to support her sick husband whom she loved dearly had made a deep impression in countless hearts. The feelings were so professionally portrayed that no one could have guessed that she was a newcomer.

While she did debut out of nowhere, stepping into the entertainment circle meant that she needed a backer to survive. Without a strong backer she was just another gem among thousands that would remain unpolished. And Ben had the idea of approaching her with an offer that she definitely couldn't refuse- being her sugar daddy. Of course that wasn't permanent. It was just to satiate his momentary interest and curiosity. Ben, who was used to playing around, found a suitable toy.

But unexpectedly he faced a rejection. Ben was dumbfounded. She was so great? Who else would dare decline such an offer? Moreover, to survive in this industry, purity wasn't something one can hold on to. He was rather stupefied seeing such foolishness. With a sneer, he took a last glance at her before walking off. What he didn't get to see was her self-deprecating smile afterwards.
If she were to agree, she didn't know what that person would do. She definitely couldn't get close to people as she wished. At least for the moment.
A few weeks passed after that party. Surprisingly, Lia and another actress were competing for a role in Ben's new movie. Ben was funding a mid tier movie. Though it didn't guarantee a huge success, the script was still interesting and thrilling. Naturally, he knew about the conflict.
