~Good morning, my love! Your smile is my sunshine, and your presence fills my heart with warmth.
Can't wait to see you in school today, my beautiful girlfriend.~

I smiled ear to ear, my heart skipping a beat as I read Jason's message. I felt a warm, giddy excitement wash over me. It was a feeling I wanted to hold onto forever.

As I started getting ready for school, I paid extra attention to my looks. I brushed my hair until it shone and added a touch of lip gloss. I wanted to look perfect for him. I glanced at myself in the mirror, feeling a sense of confidence I hadn't felt before.

On the way to school, my aunty couldn't help but notice my unusually bright demeanor. "You're looking extra happy today," she remarked with a knowing smile.

"Can't I just be happy to go to school?" I replied, trying to hide my excitement. But I couldn't keep the smile off my face.

She chuckled softly. "Of course you can, dear. But I have a feeling there's more to it than just school."

I just shook my head, feeling the warmth of her affection and her knowing look. I couldn't wait to see Jason and to spend the day by his side.

When I arrived at school, I went straight to my class, I saw Paula gathering our assignment for the week, I quickly gave her mine.

"Hi Tiara, how was your weekend?" she asked.

"It was okay, just hanging out with Janet" I answered, trying to look indifferent.

Jason entered our class with his friends Uche and Paul, Uche announced that the Alumni Reunion is coming up after exams and they need volunteers to help out at the event, some of my classmates, including Paula showed interest and they were told to meet up later at the executive office.

I could feel Jason's eyes on me. He couldn't stop staring, and I felt a blush creep up my cheeks.

At that time, my phone beeped, we were not supposed to bring out phones but we all do, even the executives.

~meet me at the back of the library, I have something for you~

I smiled, what could that be, Jason is so full of surprises.

"Who's that?" Paula asked, trying to sneak a peak at the message, I quicky put away my phone.

"It's my mum" I lied and I left the class casually.

I met Jason standing at the back of the library. We were finally alone, away from the prying eyes of our classmates.

"Hi girlfriend, you look so pretty today," Jason said, his eyes full of admiration.

"Thank you," I replied, my voice barely a whisper as I blushed even deeper. "And thank you for the message this morning. It made my day."

"I'm glad," he said, stepping closer. "I couldn't stop thinking about you."

"I couldn't stop thinking about you either," I admitted, feeling the warmth of his gaze.

He reached out, gently taking my hand in his. "I love seeing you smile like this."

"Jason, stop someone might see" I took my hand away.

He smiled, and reached into his pocket. He brought out a silver bracelet and gave it to me.

"Jason! This is beautiful" I said.

"You like it?" He said nervously.

"Of course I do, help me put it on" he put it on for me and it looked great on my wrist. Jason is such a sweet guy.
