S3, Ep6 - Marigold
"The Red Eye Incident"

TWENTY-FOUR YEARS AGO

THE SOUND OF THE HOUSE ALARM, blares through the large speakers in Number Eight's room, causing her to jump up from her bed in alarm.

She quickly moves over to her dresser and grabs her domino mask, slapping it onto her face before running out of her room and down the stairs to the living room.

The rest of her siblings were already there, all huddled around the couch whilst Reginald impatiently waited for them to be seated with his planner board in front of him.

"Children. This mission is a very important and very dangerous one so listen carefully. Your task today is to set free the hostages that have been capture during a bank robbery." Reginald quickly explains, using his wooden stick to point to certain locations stuck into the board.

"Here is where you will enter and here is where you will exit with the hostages, after you save them. But children, there is one more thing. The men there are armed and dangerous; use your abilities and the techniques you have been taught." Reginald demands before gesturing for Pogo to lead them out.

Pogo rushes them all towards the large car parked outside, the Eight kids all piling in together as the car begins to start moving almost instantly.

"Alright so. Me and Ben will both take the fourth floor, Alphonso you take the third with Jayme, Sloane you take the second with Fei and Chris, you go with Y/N on the first floor." Marcus quickly explains.

They discuss their plan further until the car came to a rough stop, the Eight of them quickly scrambling out of the car and making their way into the building immediately.

Chris and Y/N both rush into the first floor where they were attacked almost as soon as they stepped foot inside, gun shots flying about as the scared hostages screamed in terror.

Chris used his power to taser and electrocute those around him whilst Y/N used her powers and fighting skills to kill the dangerous ones around her.

A man with a gun sneaks up from behind her but she was faster, bending down and sweeping him from under his feet and successfully knocking him down onto the ground.

But the man quickly got up again and went to attack her but Y/N, once again, was faster; using her powers to coldly stare straight at the man, the sounds of his struggles strains turning into loud yells.

She could feel the power radiating off her as his skin begins to glow a bright shade of red, his veins becoming black and visible for everybody to see.

Not even a few seconds later, his body completely explodes, his blood and insides all splattering onto Y/N and her once freshly clean uniform.

The girl cringes in disgust and flicks off a bit of flesh that had stuck to her shoulder, grimacing as she looks at the scene she had caused before her.

Soon enough, the rest of her siblings all joined her and Chris downstairs with their hostages by their sides, all safe and unharmed.

Y/N quickly makes her way to the remaining hostages and quickly unties them all one by one before helping them get up, not before reassuring them that she was the good guy, giving their questions about the amount of blood dripping off her body.
