VIKRAM

So many many things!

This life feels so meaningful right now. I'm overwhelmed by the small baby. Mehar! The way she threw her arms and legs in so cute to watch. I love her already.

Right now she was lying on her stomach and looking at me with her innocent eyes. Her small lips are apart looking at me. She giggled. I kept the toy infront of her. She touched it with her baby fingers.

"Vikram, you're not going to office today? Why?" I heard her voice from behind.

"Nope." I replied kissing her small cheeks. She giggled looking at me.

"Are you alright? Or are you going somewhere?" Arshitha asked.

"Why you've to ask that?" I asked turning my gaze towards her.

"As far I know people don't take day off when they are unwell or busy. Moreover Vikram Hirani, don't take a day off." She scoffed making me chuckle.

She smiled too sitting beside me. I picked Mehar and made her sit my lap.

"I'm jealous of you." I heard her say.

I looked up from Mehar to her mother stared at her confusingly. Then I smiled. From the last two days Mehar was sleeping with me on my chest.

"I didn't do anything." I said innocently.

"Acha, go and get ready." I said, picking Mehar and stood up.

"Where?" She asked raising her eyebrows in confusion.

"Go woman!" I said holding her arm and made her stood up.

"Should I wear saree then?" She asked.

"As you wish." I said.

The door opened revealing her, draped in a golden saree. Her hairs in a messy bun. She smiled at me which I gladly returned.

"Let's go?" I asked.

She nodded.

"You still didn't tell me, where." She muttered.

"You are bored!" I said starting the engine.

"You are taking me out?" That was small whisper, but I heard it already.

"Yes." I admitted.

I didn't want her to be lonely. I know how that shit hurts. Working hard from day to night, all tired and fully exhausted reached the house welcomed by extreme silence and darkness. The life much I hated, much lonely was becoming good. Silence and darkness are replaced by giggles and smiles.

Arshitha, I loved her once. If I ever had any feelings towards any woman, then it's her. But after she was committed to Shrikant, and completing my graduation from Delhi. I never thought I would be meet her in such a vulnerable situation. She has gone through so much.

"Vikram," she placed her palm on my arm.

I looked at her, raising my eyebrows.

"Are you alright?" She asked, worry laced on her voice.

"Hhm." I hummed and started the engine.

I stopped the car infront of the park. It was calm place.

"Come out." I said opening the car and came towards her and picked Mehar from her.
