This is mainly my headcannons in regards to sexuality because it just isn't ever brought into conversation unless its an argument and I'd like your guys' headcannons :)

That being said, none of the sonic characters have confirmed sexualities so nobody is right, and nobody is wrong. This is just an interesting topic to talk about and see how other people register the characters, fighting is not needed or tolerated :D (glossary at the bottom if you are unsure of certain gender identities/sexualities)

Sonic - Pansexual/Demiromantic/Demisexual
Amy - Heterosexual/Aceflux
Tails - Heterosexual/AroAce (grown up AU, we do not headcannon children here)
Knuckles - Heterosexual
Rouge - Omnisexual with a preference for men
Shadow - Homosexual/Asexual ('gay ass highlights' if yk, yk)
Cream - Heterosexual/Demi-girl/non-binary (grown up AU)
Vanilla - Heterosexual
Sonia - AroAce
Manic - Spectrasexual/Aroflux
Whisper - Homosexual
Tangle - Bisexual
Scourge - Pansexual/Aromantic
Fiona - Transgender (MTF)/Heterosexual
Rosie - Heterosexual/Reciprosexual
Silver - Omnisexual with a preference for females
Blaze - Heterosexual/Demiromantic
Mephiles - Pansexual/Agender
Sally - Bisexual/Asexual

Glossary of Gay:
(Somebody can be one thing alongside being aromantic and/or asexual. Both of which are spectrums and contain different meanings towards attraction, whether that's sexually or romantically)

Pansexual - feeling an attraction (may be sexual or romantic) to people regardless of their gender

Demiromantic - Only feeling a romantic attraction towards somebody once a platonic connection is established

Demisexual - Only feeling a sexual attraction towards somebody after a platonic connection is established

Heterosexual - The attraction (romantically and/or sexually) to the opposite sex

Aceflux - The ever changing ability to feel sexual closeness/attraction to people

Omnisexual - Being attracted to all genders (and gender identities) but with a tendency to prefer one gender/gender identity

Asexual - Lacking sexual attraction/closeness towards others

Homosexual - being attracted to (sexually and/or romantically) the same sex

Demi-girl - partially identifying as a girl

Non-binary - identifying as a gender that does not conform to male or female

AroAce - lacking both sexual and romantic attraction towards others (research it if you are interested, it's an entire spectrum)

Spectrasexual - being attracted to many sexes/gender identities, however not all of them.

Bisexual - the attraction to both male and female sexes and aligned individuals

Transgender (MTF) - somebody assigned male at birth identifying as female and (in most cases) transitioning

Transgender (FTM) - somebody assigned female at birth identifying as male and (in most cases) transitioning

Reciprosexual - not experiencing sexual attraction towards somebody unless that person is sexually attracted to them

Agender - identifying as no gender that conforms to being male, female or anything inbetween

Let me know if I have incorrectly defined any sexuality/gender identity. The 'ual' in 'sexual' now looks severely misspelled because of the sheer amount of time I have spent typing this useless information nobody wanted/needed in their lifetime.
