After he classes she got a text from Taehyun. "Heya come at the library!" She read the text, brows furrowing slightly in confusion. Why did he want her at the library? But she didn't argue, curious enough to see what he wanted.
She arrived at the library and found him sitting at their table waiting for her. She approached him, a hint of suspicion in her eyes. "Why'd you ask me to come here?"
"We need to grab the new modules for the tutors." He states looking for his phone.
She raised an eyebrow, not convinced by his vague answer. "And why can't you do that alone?"
"We're project partners." He says raising a brow at her.
"That doesn't require both of us to come," she retorted, her suspicion growing. Was this really just about picking up modules? She crossed her arms, waiting for him to explain further.
"It's a lot of modules. It would take me too long if I do it alone." He explained.
She rolled her eyes, sighing. It seemed like he was being genuinely stubborn about this. "Fine, I'll help."
They navigated the empty halls to the printing room, the only sound echoing in the silence the soft pitter-patter of their footsteps. When they reached it, he opened the door for her, gesturing for her to go in first. "Ms. Jung said she paced it at the photo developing room."
She nodded, noting the information. Together, they made their way to the photo developing room. As they walked, she couldn't help but notice how quiet he was being. It was unusual for him. Usually, he'd have something snarky to say, but he was just... walking silently next to her.
As they entered the dark room, the only illumination coming from the red light at the top. Photo papers were laid out neatly, the faint scent of developing solution lingering in the air. They looked around, searching for the modules.
"Here." Her eyes followed his hand. Sure enough, piled up on one of the tables were the modules, neatly stacked and ready to be picked up.
As they were about to go out he couldn't open the door. She raised an eyebrow at his struggle to open the door, watching as he tugged at the handle repeatedly. "What the hell?" she muttered, growing restless. "Did it get jammed?"
Taehyun smirked, "Looks like we're stuck here together." He says.
Chaeryeong crossed her arms and tried to hide the fluttering in her chest. "Don't get any ideas. I'm just going to figure out how to get us out of here."
Taehyun leaned against the wall, "Relax. There's no point in being uptight about it. We could be here for hours."
Chaeryeong rolled her eyes pushing him aside. "No thanks, not with you at least." She mumbled as she tried to open the door.
Taehyun chuckled, "Oh, so I'm that unpleasant to be around, huh?"
Chaeryeong huffed, "You have no idea. You're arrogant, conceited, and constantly get on my nerves."
Taehyun observed her futile attempts, then spoke up. "You know, you're kinda cute when you're frustrated."
