The video wrapped up, and the group began to disperse, chatting about their plans for the evening. Andrew lingered behind, his mind racing. He knew that Lexi would want to talk to him, and he wasn't sure he was ready for that conversation.

As he made his way down the hallway, he heard footsteps behind him. He turned to find Lexi standing there, her expression a mix of curiosity and something else he couldn't quite place.

"Andrew," she began, her voice soft but steady. "Can we talk?"

He nodded, unable to find his voice. She led him to a quieter part of the house, away from the others. When they were alone, she turned to face him, her eyes searching his.

"Was it me?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper. "The crush you admitted to in the video... was it me?"

Andrew felt his heart skip a beat. He opened his mouth to respond, but the words got caught in his throat. Instead of answering, he took a step closer to her, the tension between them thick in the air.

Lexi didn't move. She stood her ground, her eyes locked on his, waiting. Andrew could see the uncertainty in her expression, the way she was trying to figure out what he was thinking.

Before he could second-guess himself, he acted on impulse. He gently pushed her back against the wall, his hands on either side of her, trapping her in place. Then, without giving her a chance to react, he leaned in and kissed her.

For a split second, Lexi froze, her hands resting against his chest. But then, she kissed him back, her arms wrapping around his neck as she pulled him closer. The kiss was intense, full of all the emotions they had been holding back for so long.

When they finally pulled apart, both of them were breathless. Andrew rested his forehead against hers, his voice hushed. "I've liked you for a long time, Lexi."

Lexi looked up at him, her eyes wide with surprise and something else—something he dared to hope was mutual. "Andrew... I didn't know."

He smiled softly, his hand gently brushing a strand of hair away from her face. "Well, now you do."
