When I woke up I found Korra in the cage beside me. "Don't touch me or I swear I'll fry you!" I opened the door between us carefully then Korra tossed out an arm sending out a blast of fire. I grabbed it and pulled her out, turning her and lowering her until she was on her knees as I still had her arm.

"Easy there hot-head, you almost got me there," she stopped trying to fight out of it.

"Wait, Y/n? What are you doing here?" she asked. I helped her up and gave her a gentle pat on the head.

"Well, we got captured together so I'm stuck here with my favorite hot-headed avatar. Now, let's figure out a way to get the hell out of here," I said as Korra took a few steps before passing out from exhaustion, it looks like she's been struggling for hours. "Okay, I guess I'll figure something out then," I put my hand into my pocket to grab my notebook, only to find it missing. "Crap, this isn't good."

"No, it isn't."

"Shit," I cursed as I looked into the darkest corner of the room and found one of the dark entities that I'd heard about. It had glowing red eyes, grey skin, and razor-sharp teeth. A smug grin on his face, the kind of grin that you just can't help but shudder at. The grin of a man with a winning hand.

"Such foul language, is that any way to treat a potential friend, Y/n?"

"Screw you, I know better than to make a deal with you."

"Now, now, I have the means to help you escape. All it would cost you is a favor, nothing much, just let me ride around in your body for a while. Deal?" he asked, but my position hadn't shifted. "Look you want to get out of this cage with your little girlfriend, right?"

"She's not my-"

"Yeah, yeah, look you have something I want and I have something you need, so unfortunately, you can't afford to reject my offer here. Can you?"

"Just for a while?"

"Of course, now shake on it," I grabbed his hand, causing the most sadistic grin to fall upon his face, and as his form absorbed into me, a mark formed on my wrist and began to glow. I melted the metal with just a pass of my hand.

"Should have checked for the seal, but of course, you're not very perceptive," I said before pulling the unconscious Korra over my shoulder and carrying her out of Tarrlok's secret house on the outskirts of civilization. Luckily, Naga was already on our trail and took Korra on her back. I went on the search for my missing journal. "Come on, let's find that notebook," I said to the glowing mark on my arm, the ward is weakening. I have to find that journal before the seal breaks.

Once I found it on Tarrlok's desk, I pressed the mark against the book and watched it flip to the corresponding page. The symbols became legible, deciphering the page on the entity inside of me, a Nocrom, a supernatural being of night and flame.

I released the seal and the Nocrom left my body. "So, have fun in my body? or was it not what you were expecting?"

"Wh-what are you?" he asked, terrified and tormented. It disappeared in a puff of smoke, I didn't have time to question what he meant by that. Instead, as I slipped the notebook back into my sweatshirt pocket I heard footsteps approaching, but I couldn't find anywhere to hide as Tarrlok came into the room. Yet it was as though he was looking right through me. I looked at my hands finding them transparent. However, at my feet, I still cast a shadow.

I managed to leave unnoticed and ran through the snow, but the snow melted with each step. "What is happening to me?" it was only now that I noticed that I had regained visibility because of the sunlight. I ran through the snow with a small amount of flame erupting from my hand, just enough to melt the snow and allow me to run with ease. Considering Korra had transportation, she'll be back soon. However, I'll have to journey for half the day at least.

I returned exhausted and with the sight of airships beginning to fill the city skyline. "I have to stop them, somehow..." I reasoned, not noticing the steam that was starting to rise from the sizzling water from the melted snow on my skin. "I need a sword," I said and with the airship above blocking the sun, I felt stronger and a blade emerged from the darkened ground. "Huh, cool. Alright, not entirely sure what's happening, but I'll take what I can get."

I disappeared into a dark mist and I found myself in the sky. I sliced at the air causing a wave of fire to smack against one of the airships. "Crap! I'm falling fast!" in a last-ditch effort I managed to stab the airship and my blade tore a hole but also slowed my fall. I clutched my chest, "I-I almost died... onto the next."

As one went down I'd jump off and move on to the next. I did this until reaching the Air Temple. I saw Chief Beifong and Tenzin's family below so I cut down the airship getting rid of their reinforcements. I jumped down, it turned out to be an eighty-foot fall. "Oh shit!" I shouted as I saw the approaching ground. A shockwave shook the entire island, and a cloud of debris launched into the air. When I stood up there were gasps from all sides.

"Hello there..."
