The next morning, Lakshya offered to drop Aarohi off at her studio. She agreed, but as they drove, she noticed they weren't heading in the right direction."This is not the way to the studio," she said, confusion etched on her face.
Lakshya smiled mischievously. "We're not going to the studio. We're going to your home."
Aarohi's eyes widened in surprise. "You said you were missing your parents" Lakshya explained. "Then go and meet them!"
But Aarohi's expression turned hesitant. She didn't want to go home, and Lakshya sensed her unease.
"I'm sorry," he said, his voice softening.
Aarohi waved her hand dismissively. "Nahh, it's okay. I know you did it for me."
Lakshya's eyes filled with understanding, but Aarohi could see the hint of disappointment. She knew he was trying to help, but she couldn't explain her personal reasons for not wanting to go home.
Aarohi tried to change the subject, "Anyways, aren't you getting late for practice?"
Lakshya shrugged, "Nahh, I'm not going to practice today"
Aarohi raised an eyebrow, "Ohh, okay"
She paused, wondering what to do next. "So, what are we gonna do now?" she asked.
Lakshya suggested, "Lets go back home"
Aarohi's eyes widened in alarm, "No Your Massi will ask thousands of questions I can't"
Lakshya chuckled, understanding her concern. "Okay, then let's wait in the car" he said, gesturing to the vehicle.
Aarohi nodded, relieved, and they both got back into the car.
After some time, Aarohi exclaimed, "Ohh God I'm getting bored"
Lakshya nodded in agreement,
"I know."Aarohi's eyes sparkled with mischief, "Let's play something"
Lakshya raised an eyebrow, " What can we play here?"
Aarohi grinned, "Truth or dare?"
Lakshya's face turned red, "What No!"
Aarohi teased, "Ohh c'mon Don't be a bore, we're already getting bored"
Lakshya sighed, "Godd Fine!"
Aarohi clapped her hands, "Good, Truth or dare?"
Lakshya hesitated, then said, "Truth"
Aarohi's eyes gleamed with curiosity, "Okay... What did you think of me when you saw me?"
Lakshya's expression turned thoughtful, "Huh I thought you were just a spoiled brat Who cares about nothing But then after some time I realised you're not... When you-"
Aarohi cut him off, her face flushing, "Okay My turn truth"
Lakshya asked, "What did you think about that guy?"
Aarohi looked puzzled, "Huh? Which guy"
Lakshya clarified, "With whom you were talking that day, laugh out loud"
Aarohi's face lit up, "Ohh him Ritik!! He's a sweet guy That's it I've only met him once"
Lakshya's eyes narrowed, "Was he flirting with you?"
Aarohi protested, "What No!! Anyways, you can't ask me two questions at once!!"
Lakshya grinned, "Okay"
Aarohi asked again, "So, truth or dare?"
Lakshya chose, "Truth"
Aarohi's question was, "Whom do you love or care about the most in the world?"
