Final Chapter:Ganon's tower, The final confrontation

*Link's POV*

We're currently descending back into the surface and as we disembark Lions and enter the castle, i get a feeling that something doesn't feel right. We go down to the sword chamber and see Zelda standing where the swords rested.

I smile and run towards her.

Y/N:Tetra, good news. We restored the Master Sword and the Master Claymore of their powers!

However she says nothing. She turns around and...WHAT!?

SHE JUST DISAPPEARED!

Link:What in the-!?

Y/N:She's...Gone!

Y/N and i stand where she once stood, looking around frantically.

Link:Where is she?

Y/N:...Link...I think this was a trap.

???:Excellent deduction, child. You really are a descendant of your predecessor.

I look up to the ceiling after hearing that voice. It was Ganondorf.

Ganondorf:Did you really think you'd be safe in this castle? How pathetic. You may have restored the powers of those accursed blades, but my power has been restored as well. And now that i am at full power, Zelda is all mine. And you two are safe nowhere! Face an eternal slumber like those who came before you!

The area around us surrounds itself with flames, trapping us, while two darknuts fall down from the ceiling. Y/N and i dodge out of the way of their combined attack.

We pull out our weapons and immediately start making work of these guys. I put my training i had back at Outset to use and spin-dodge the attack and follow with a jump attack to the back, removing its armour. The darknut runs at me and tries to get me with a vertical swing, but i just jump over him and slice his helmet off. Apparently that did the trick, as it falls to the ground motionless before exploding in a puff of smoke.

I turn my attention to Y/N who's holding his darknut with a...Is that a tentacle? It looks like one but it doesn't have the suction cups of one. It's almost like some kind of tendril made of darkness? Anyway, he is slamming it over and over on the ground until he tosses it away and throws a bright ball towards it. Upon contact, the darknut starts to glow until Y/N throws another ball, this time of darkness and it sends the darknut through the flames and crashes on the window that had a depiction of Ganon, breaking it in the process.

Both darknuts defeated, the flames disappear and we rush out of the chamber. The entire castle is now swarming with monsters again.

I feel my gossip stone vibrate, so i pull it out and hear Lions' voice.

Lions:Ganon has taken Zelda, i know. And i also know where he has taken her...To his tower. After Ganon had defeated the Hero of Balance, he built his tower as a keep for him to reside and rule over Hyrule, until the great flood of our world happened. Head out of the castle through the main gates, destroy the barrier he has cast around the castle and head to his tower to finish this!

Lions:Got it.

I put the gossip stone away and we head out to the front door. Just like he said, outside is a barrier surrounding the castle. He said we needed to destroy it, but he never specified how...

Y/N pulls out the Master Claymore.

Y/N:I think we strike it Link, it does seem to be the only logical way i can think of.

...I guess that makes sense.

I pull out the Master Sword and together, we swing our blades at the barrier. It starts turning into glass slowly until it shatters completely, giving us access away from the castle and to all of Hyrule.
