I'm not supposed to work on the story yet, but this story is about an issue I have great experience of and am passionate about so I wanted to give myself a head start. No, it's not all about friendship but it's an integral aspect of the story. But really, the life of being in a top class.
Asia is known to be an academically stressed continent, and Singapore's no exception. As a Singaporean that was forced to be in the top class in third, fourth and sixth grade, I'm writing this story to discuss what matters in the top class: results or progress, competition or friendship.
As this is about the reality of being a student in the top class, this story is gory with disturbing mental health imagery. Any chapter with ⚠️ at the end has warning for disturbing mental health imagery and should be proceeded with caution.
But if you want to explore the complexities of being a student that struggles with some subjects in the top class and accept the gory imagery as part of the ride, please stay. You're going to join Crystal, Chloe, Ethan, Lucas, John, Anika, YZ and Nicole on an emotional roller coaster as they realise what it means to be a top student.
