The Goblin

Peter goes swinging through the city and stops a few small criminals

"Thank you Spiderman." A woman says thankfully

"All in a days work, ma'am." He tells her before swinging off towards home

Cut to oscorp earlier in the day
"One of the mutated spiders is gone Mr Osborne." A woman tells an older man and he's surrounded by a few men

"What do you mean, one is missing, how did this happen?" Norman asks the lady before he's interrupted

"Mr Osborne we might have to cut funding if your company keeps underperforming, I'd rather not but we will if we must, we can always give full control over to Stark tech." The military man tells Norman

"Now gentlemen let's not get to hasty." Norman says nervously not wanting to lose everything he has worked for

"We'll start tracking the missing spider." The woman tells Norman who nods and the military man sighs

"Fix it quickly or else we will cut it." The man tells Osborne and this sets Osborne off

"You can't do this to me, do you know how much I've done for this company, how much I've sacrificed!" Norman yells looking at the men and the main general sighs

"Get me something by the end of the week, or we will terminate the treaty." The general tells Norman before walking away

"Dr Stromm to the lab immediately." Norman tells his assistant who nods and follows Norman

"What are we doing exactly Norman?" Stromm asks and Norman looks at him and picks up a couple test tubes before injecting himself with both of them

"Something I wanted to avoid, prepare the mutation device." Norman tells Stromm

"The gliders still not quite finished, it's at 95% it can't stop if it goes into its hyper speed until it hits something unless you shift it down yourself which you have to be on the glider and the formula for this is incomplete." Stromm tells Norman nervously and begging him to see reason

"I will not lose my company." Norman says getting inside the machine having made up his mind

Stromm seeing Norman's made up his mind he sighs and nods

"Ok, I will start preparing everything." Stromm sighs in defeat

Peters house
Gwen looks at pictures of Peter when he was younger and notices a couple with people she's never seen leading her to believe those were his parents making her smile sadly not understanding the pain her friend must be in. She then hears knocking on the window and sees it's Peter.

"Hey Peter." She says opening the window and Peter climbs into his room

"Hey Gwen, thanks." He tells her taking his mask off and she smiles

"You're welcome." She says as they start to move towards each other before they hear a knock on the door

"Peter, dinners ready, I made extra since I noticed extra shoes outside for your friend." Aunt May calls out and Peter opens the door

"Hey aunt may, this is my friend Gwen." He tells her and she smiles

"It's a pleasure to meet you sweetheart, are you Captain Stacy's daughter?" Aunt May asks

"Yes ma'am I am." Gwen tells her

"Peter's mentioned you a few times before." Aunt May tells her and Peter groans out as Gwen smirks in his direction

"Oh has he now?" She asks and Peter sighs again thinking it was going to be a long night

Oscorp
"Alright, are you sure Mr Osborne, once we start there is no going back." Stromm tells his boss

"I've made up my mind Stromm, do it now." Norman tells him and Stromm nods putting down clamps around his Norman's wrists "little cold." Norman mutters

"Alright, first dose of three." Stromm says pressing the inject button "Second of three." He says hitting the second inject button looking to Norman breathing deeply and Stromm takes a deep breath nervously "Final dose before completion." Stromm says hitting the final inject button and as it enters Norman's body this causes him to go into shock and start seizing and flatlines "Norman!? Norman!" He yells running over to his boss and starts doing cpr until his heartbeat comes back and Norman breaks the clamps

"Incomplete formula?" Norman asks evilly before throwing Stromm into wires and throwing a small bomb into it making sparks go everywhere killing Stromm instantly and Norman gets on the glider with a make shift green helmet and laughs madly going into the night

Peters house
"Dinner was great May, thank you." Gwen tells her and Aunt May smiles

"no problem dear, I'm glad someone can help keep Peter under control." Aunt may says laughing "reminds me of me helping keep Ben under control all those years." She tells her somberly

"If it's ok with you and he wants me to, would it be ok if I kept him company at the funeral?" Gwen asks the woman who just smiles

"Of course, I'm sure he'd really appreciate it, your good for him I haven't seen him that happy taking to one of his friends in a long time, he needs it especially now." Aunt May says before going to her room and Peter walks up to Gwen

"So I'll see you tomorrow?" Peter asks her and Gwen smiles

"Yea of course bug boy." She says teasingly before getting somber faced "do... would you want me to go to your uncles funeral with you?"

Peter sighs and looks at her with a small sad smile

"I'd appreciate it, thank you Gwen." Peter tells her hugging her and she hugs him back

"Of course Peter." She says softly and Peter looks at her nervously "you got something to ask me?"

"Would you like to go to dinner with me Saturday?" Peter asks her blushing and she giggles

"Is Peter Parker asking me on a date?" She asks teasingly making Peter blush more "I'd love to Bug Boy." She whispers kissing his cheek before leaving his house and waving goodbye

"I got a date." He laughs to himself

With Osborne
"We'll see how you like to play with the Goblin since you love playing with Norman so much." He says laughing manically
