"Alright, we're here." Sthandwa said as we dropped out of dark speed.
We were in a planet's ring system, the planet was very big,it had a cyan atmosphere and it looked like it had an icy surface. Meanwhile, the rings had rocks of different sizes that flew past us as we approached a giant cresent structure. I could see different ships jumping to their destinations.
"This is Betara b,a trading depot." Sthandwa said.
"It looks amazing,I didn't know stations still existed." I said.
"Oh they do,most are just owned by individuals or mining companies."
"We're being hailed." Nzinga said.
"Put them on." I said.
"This is the Betara b to approaching vessel, state your purpose." A male said over the comms.
"I'll handle this." Sthandwa said.
"This is Sthandwa D'noku, requesting to land and gather supplies;permission to land?" She asked."You have permission to land, bay 12 is available, enjoy your stay." The male said.
"Okay, thank you. Enjoy your day." Sthandwa replied.
"Well done Sthandwa." Nzinga and I said.
"Thanks." She said as she flew to bay 12.
"But we really do need supplies, some food,clothes...weapons;I feel like this is going to be a long ride." She smiled as she successfully landed. "Come on,I'll show you around." She unbuckled her seatbelt and lead the way.Once we were out of the ship,Sthandwa lead us to different parts of the station where we got what we needed, food and clothes from the farmer and textile districts. We finally got some weapons in the weapons district, I got myself a S-24 laser blaster, which could shoot two laser bullets at the same time.Sthandwa got herself a N4 - plasma blaster, hers could shoot twice as well,Nzinga got herself a LD-45 blaster.
The weapons dealer whistled.
"That's a good weapon, brought in all the way from Landora."
"Thank you." She said.
After practicing with our guns and knives, then paying for everything we were allowed to leave.
"You really know how to find your way around here Sthandwa." Nzinga said.
"Yeah."
"This can't be your first time here you really know how to get around." I said.
"Yeah, to be honest I have been here a few times to get some supplies with my dad." She said.
Once we had loaded our supplies on the ship we had spent a good portion of the station's day cycle.
"Alright before we go,there's this bar where they sell the best drinks and meals so let that be our final stop." Sthandwa smiled.
"Okay,I guess one more trip could not hurt." I said.
"Sure,why not." Nzinga smiled.
"Thanks guys." Sthandwa beamed. "Follow me."
As we headed to the bar, lights began to illuminate the station, it had entered its night cycle. The planet was overhead and it cast its light on us as well. After a few turns,we reached the bar. It was grey in colour and its logo, the planet above was neon blue in colour;the word Outreach was at the bottom of the logo.
"Come on,let's go." Sthandwa said as the doors slid open.
The exterior of the bar was nothing compared to its interior. Dozens of red swivel chairs, a bartender who specialized in a particular job,be it wine mixing or cooking.
