𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 ♡ [ JoongDunk ]

ɢᴏᴏᴅ ᴍᴏʀɴɪɴɢ

Joong's alarm goes off at sharp 5.30am. He turns it off immediately so as not to wake Dunk who was still sleeping comfortably besides him.

He slides quietly from the bed and heads to the bathroom for a quick shower since he's used to getting barely any sleep due to his work.

He enters the wardrobe afterwards and picks out a formal suit. Once he's done getting dressed, he turns back to look at the still asleep figure of Dunk in bed.

Joong approaches the bed quietly, and gently bent down to run his fingers through Dunk's hair as he slowly stirs awake under the touch, he lets out a soft hum and turns around to look up at Joong, still half asleep.

"Morning love," Joong said, smiling softly.

"Mm.. what time is it?" Dunk stirred and replied lazily.

"It's 5.50," Joong stated, looking at his watch before turning back to Dunk.

"Why are you up so early?" Dunk groans in complaint as he pulls the blankets over his head.

Joong chuckles at his behaviour.

"Because I have work, remember? I need to be at the company by 7."

Dunk lets out another whine.
"Then why are you waking me up this early? Can't you let me sleep a little longer?"
Dunk mumbles into the pillow.

Joong chuckles at Dunk's sulky attitude. He sits down on the bed besides Dunk and pulls the blankets off of his head.

"You need to get up too, love. You have school."

Dunk huffs in annoyance, now more awake, and sits up in bed, rubbing his eyes sleepily. He turns to look at Joong, pouting slightly.

"I don't want to go to school. Can't I just skip today?"

Joong laughs and shakes his head slightly, amused by Dunk's pleading. He reaches out to gently fix Dunk's hair.

"No, baby. You can't skip school. You need to go to class today."

Dunk lets out a frustrated sigh but he knew that Joong was right. He reluctantly gets out of bed and walks over to the bathroom.

Joong watches Dunk go into the bathroom with an amused smile on his face. He gets up from the bed and heads to the kitchen to prepare breakfast, knowing that Dunk always woke up hungry.

After a while, Dunk exits the bathroom, now freshened up and looking more awake. He walks into the kitchen where Joong is already waiting for him.
He sits down at the breakfast table as Joong places a bowl of cereal and a glass of milk in front of him.

"Thank you," Dunk says, picking up his spoon to start eating slowly, still looking a bit grumpy from his interrupted sleep.

Joong smiles and sits down across from Dunk.
"You're welcome, love. I know you're tired, but you need to eat something before school. You need your energy."

Dunk huffs, but nods.
"I know, I know. But I just wanted to sleep in for a bit longer."

Joong chuckles at his boyfriend's grumpy expression.
"You can sleep in the car on the way there."

Dunk pouts but doesn't protest, as he continues eating his breakfast
Joong watches him with a fond smile on his face. 

"Hurry up and finish your breakfast, we need to leave soon,"
Joong reminds Dunk as he glances at his watch.

Dunk nods and speed up his eating, finishing the last few bites of his cereal.

"Alright, I'm done," he says, putting his spoon down and wiping his mouth with a napkin.

"Good," Joong praises him with a smile. He gets up from his seat and grabs both Dunk's and his empty bowl.

"Go get your bag and shoes. I'll clean up and then we can leave."
