"Who are they?" Nailea's best friend Monica asked. "That's Connor and his friends". "You're friends with them...?". "Leave her alone Monica. You know Nai is friends with the weird kids to make them feel special!". Her other best friend Alexia said. "You guys need to stop. Connor is actually my friend. He's a nice person!".

"Anyways, freshman year huh? We should celebrate this weekend. Are you guys doing anything?" Nailea and Alexia shook their heads. "Great! We should all hang out!". "Well my sister is going out of town for about a week or two. Maybe I can convince her to let me borrow her car!".

"Perfect! See you guys on Friday night?". "Yeah, Friday night it is". "You're the best Nai!" Alexia said.

After School
"Can't believe I'm going to Las Vegas! I'm so excited!!". Nailea walked up to Nadia who was leaning on the kitchen counter. "Yeahh, about that. While you're gone, do you think I can borrow your car. You know to hang out with Monica and Alexia!". Nadia groaned as she thought about it.

She sighed. "Ok fine. Just don't mess it up! That's all I ask!". "Nadia you worry too much, your car will be fine!". "Well you only have your permit and you can't even drive without an adult in the car so I'm just trying to look out for you! And make sure that you don't crash my car!".

"Thanks, Nadia. I promise nothings going to happen". "Nothing better happen! When I leave Friday afternoon, I'll leave the car keys here for you!". Nailea smiled and walked away. She pulled out her phone from her back pocket and texted the group chat with her, Monica, and Alexia. "She said yes. Get ready for Friday night".

Friday night
Nailea had texted the girls that she was on their way to pick them up. She picked up Alexia first and then Monica. She got into the passenger seat. "Guess what I got bitches!". Monica showed the girls a fake ID. "Nai, can you take us to the liquor store?". Uhh, fuck it. Why not?". The two girls clapped as Nailea drove to the nearest liquor store.

Monica got out of the car. "Wish me luck!". Monica went inside the store, and a few minutes later she came outside with a smile on her face and a big bag in her hand. "Shit, what did you get". Alexia laughed. Monica shrugged. "Everything!". She opened up a bottle of champagne. She took a sip and then passed it to Alexia and back to Monica. "Want some Nai?".

"Hell no, I'm driving". Monica shrugged. "Ok suit yourself!". Monica turned up the radio as they drove through town. They went to a few stores and had fun. Monica might've had a little bit too much champagne to drink. She jumped around in her seat while singing along to the songs on the radio. "Come on Nai. This is your part!".

Monica grabbed Nailea's hand off the wheel and waved it around. "Monica stop. Don't you see I'm trying to drive here??". Monica laughed. "Oh my gosh. Let's take a picture!". Monica put her phone in Nailea's face as she leaned over to her, Alexia got in the picture too. "Monica stop. I'm serious!".

"Ugh, you're no fun. We're supposed to be celebrating finishing our first week of high school!". "Yeah, and we will celebrate once we get to my house!". Monica still didn't listen. She started shaking Nailea as she sang to the music. The car swerved into the next lane. "Monica get off!". A car honked at them. Nailea swerved the car into the side of the road and it hit a tree.

"Shit!". Nailea got out of the car to check the damage, and Monica and Alexia followed her. "I-I'm so sorry N-. "Save it, Monica. I don't wanna hear it". Nailea got back into the car. The girls did too. Luckily she could still be able to drive the car. She ended up just dropping the girls off back at home, a silent drive.

Nadia was going to kill her. Her one rule was to be careful and not get into a crash. And that's exactly what she did. Tomorrow morning she would have to go to a mechanic to see how much they would charge her to get it fixed before Nadia comes back from Las Vegas. Hopefully, it wasn't too much money...
