The next day...

Blitz slowly opens his eyes and soon looks to find himself in something comfortable.

He then hears a voice, "Blitz... Blitz..."

Blitz slowly turns his head to see Stolas lying next to him with a small smile but it's full of sadness and relief.

"Stolas..." Blitz softly responds.

He soon gasps and sits up, "What happened? How did I... the last I remember was..."

Stolas sits up as Blitzs tries to ask, but stops him by placing his hand on his cheek. Blitz gently places his own hand on Stolas.

"How are you feeling?" Stolas asks.

"Okay, I guess..." Blitz says, feeling uneasy, "I... I still feel upset about what happened..."

"I understand. When I found you, you cried so much that you cried yourself to sleep on the floor in the ballroom. I brought it out to my chamber so you can rest," Stolas explains.

"Oh..." Blitz sadly says and lowers his head. He sadly sighs, "I'm sorry for how I acted."

"No Blitz, you have every right to be upset. Learning what happened to your birth mother was a devastating blow. Zak and Zoey worry about how the truth would affect you," Stolas says.

"I know. I'm just... shocked by the blow," Blitz says and sighs.

He then asks, "Where are Zak and Zoey?"

"I think they're standing in front of the door," Stolas says, and uses his magic to open it.

It's revealed that Zak and Zoey are waiting for them outside of the room.

"Zak. Zoey," Blitz says, surprised.

"Hey Blitz, how are you feeling?" Zak asks.

"I'm feeling a little better," Blitz says.

"We're glad to hear it. We were worried," Zoey says.

Then Zak and Zoey walk inside and Zoey closes the door. The couple look very remorseful.

Zak sighs, "Blitz, listen, about last night, I uh..."

"Hey, it's okay," Blitz says, "I'm uh, I'm sure you have your reasons for not telling and..."

But Zak says, "No, it's not. I should have told you to save you the pain, but I didn't want you to have any more heartache after losing your adopted mother and your wife. And with you and your family being involved in the media and all that. Not to mention with the crystals and stuff. I just didn't want you to be more stressed. I'm so sorry for not telling you about keeping this secret."

Blitz smiles and says, "I forgive you, Zak. I'm shocked to learn it, and I am upset that you kept it from me, but you had a good reason."

"True, but still, you do have the right to know," Zoey says, "Well, better late than never."

"Yes. I have to agree," Stolas says.

Then Blitz asks, "If you don't mind me asking, I understand that my mother died in the fire, but what happened to my father and sister?"

"Well, that part is true. We have no clue where they are," Zoey says.

"After the fire, Barbie ended up cutting ties to all of us. We don't know where she or Cash is right now," Zak says.

Zoey sighs, "We figure that Barbie might have experienced old wounds at the time. She first lost you, and she ended up losing her mother, and her home. Barbie ended up being the most hurt out of all of it."

"Is it really bad?" Blitz asks, worried.

"Horrible. I lost my horn, and as you remember from what the kids said about Clayton, he lost his eye and his arm, receiving artificial ones. Fizzarolli lost both his horns and all of his limbs during the explosion," Zak says.

"That's terrible," Blitz says, shocked.

"It was," Zak says.

"I see," Blitz says.

"Still, despite what happened, we all were able to do okay, but we weren't able to figure out what happened to Barbie," Zoey says.

"When we learned you were alive, we tried to find anything about her, but nothing," Zak says.

"I'm glad you all tried," Blitz says.

"Yeah, but I just wish we knew where she is," Zoey says.

"Me too," Zak says.

Zak then turns to Blitz, "Do you think we can start over?"

"Sure we can, we've been friends, and I don't think that could change," Blitz says.

The four then give each other a group hug.

Sometime later...

They return to the hotel and explain what happened last night, and the truth about Blitz's family, and why they kept it a secret.

"So that's why you kept this a secret," Angel says.

"Yeah. Having to tell your friend that his mother died and his father and sister cut ties to everyone is shocking. And to learn the damages this fire caused," Vaggie says.

Charlie sadly says, "I'm sorry to hear what happened to you all. Now I understand why you all were so reluctant about telling Blitz about his birth family."

"Yeah. It was never easy," Zoey says.

"And it's hard to know when to bring it up again," Zak says.

Aurora sadly says, "I'm sorry that you've all gone through that."

"It's too bad we can't meet our grandparents and aunt from dad's family," Keenan says.

"I know, son. We may never meet your grandmother, but maybe someday we can meet your grandfather and aunt," Blitz says.

"Maybe someday," Loona says.

Then Charlie says, "Well, it just goes to show that sometimes the truth can put people at ease. And, even though it's meant to protect someone, it's still not good to lie or keep secrets."

Angel groans, "Why do you have to make it into a redemption lesson, Charles?"

Soon, everyone begins laughing.

Charlie says, "Still, it's good that you all decided to make a fresh start. I hope you all can be better friends."

"I think we can Charlie," Zak says.
