Beomgyu and Yeonjun ate dinner at Yeonjun's favorite ramen restaurant, that's near the campus, before they arrived at Fight or Escape: Gaming Lounge.
Beomgyu enjoys visiting the gaming lounge to relieve his boredom and academic stress. However, he isn't a hardcore gamer and prefers playing on the computer rather than on a console. As a video game hobbyist, Beomgyu's go-to game is League Of Legends (LoL). He's remarkably skilled at the complex game hence he's a Diamond One player which is one of the highest ranks in LoL.
On the contrary, Yeonjun simply tags along in hopes to see a certain someone he knows that's a frequent customer— Choi Soobin.
It's simply not a crush but Yeonjun would definitely admit that Soobin is eye candy. He merely likes ogling at the male from a distance whenever he gets the chance because he's very attractive. It's more of a sexual attraction than a romantic one.
The gaming lounge has two floors. The front desk is located in the center of the main floor for guests to purchase pay-by-the-hour video games and coins for the arcade games. There is a small quantity of coin-operated games and complimentary table top games such as a foosball table and air hockey on the first floor. A cafe is located in the rear with a few tables that can be used for studying or just hanging out. The second level consists of gaming rooms with consoles such as Xboxes and Playstations. PC gaming rigs are stationed in an area where enthusiasts can play games with their friends or alone.
After Beomgyu and Yeonjun pay their fare at the front desk, they take the elevator to go upstairs. When the elevator doors shut, Yeonjun immediately gushes about how hot Soobin is after spotting the male's appearance upon entry.
"Can you shut the fuck up and jump his bones already? I'm tired of listening to you drool over him all the time." Beomgyu suppressed a laugh even though his tone was laced with annoyance, making it apparent that he had enough.
"You know I can't do that!" Yeonjun exclaimed.
"And why not?" Beomgyu asked flatly, uninterested in the conversation as he reaches forward and presses the button for level 2.
"He hates my guts!"
Beomgyu snorts, "that's clearly a you problem."
Yeonjun mutters, "asshole."
Meanwhile, Beomgyu giggled at the insult.
Shortly after, the elevator halts and the doors open.
As they saunter toward the computers, Soobin hasn't left Yeonjun's mind. He distinctively remembers that when he saw Soobin downstairs, he was hanging with a girl.
"Do you think they are dating?" Yeonjun asked inquisitively as they both sit down in two ergonomic chairs.
Beomgyu turns on the computer before asking, "who?"
