I couldn't believe what Tyler had just told me. His family was bound to a demon? It sounded like something out of a horror movie. But as I looked into his eyes, I saw the truth there. He wasn't joking. This was real.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked, feeling a mix of emotions: shock, fear, and confusion. We were sitting in Tyler's car, parked in a secluded spot on the outskirts of town. The only sound was the distant hum of crickets and the occasional hoot of an owl.

Tyler sighed, running his hands through his hair. "I was trying to protect you, Sophia. I didn't want you to get hurt."

I shook my head, trying to process everything. "You should have told me. I deserve to know the truth."

Tyler nodded, his eyes filled with regret. "I know. I'm sorry. But please, you have to promise me one thing."

"What's that?"

"You have to stay away from Azazel. He's dangerous, Sophia. He'll stop at nothing to get what he wants."

I felt a chill run down my spine. "I will," I promised. "But you have to tell me more about your family's past. I need to understand what's going on."

Tyler hesitated, then nodded. "Okay. But we have to be careful. We can't let Azazel find out."

I nodded, and Tyler began to tell me the story of his family's curse.

"It started centuries ago," he said. "My ancestors made a pact with a powerful demon to gain wealth and power. But the demon twisted their wishes, cursing our family to serve him for eternity."

I listened, entranced, as Tyler told me about the generations of his family who had been bound to the demon. I heard about the struggles they faced, the sacrifices they made, and the secrets they kept.

As we talked, I realized that Tyler was more than just a bully or a pretty face. He was complex, multifaceted, and struggling with his own demons (literally). And I found myself falling for him, hard.

But was it safe to love someone bound to a demon? I didn't know, but I was willing to take the risk.
