When they had gotten to the table, Lily felt rather singled out knowing that she'd be the only one with the sweet diet. When Lily sat down she noted that she was sitting by Haruka which was fine with her but by one of her half sisters husbands as well instead of one of her siblings. The male that sat beside her was a pink haired male with red eyes. "You must be Kiku's younger sister. I'm Koi nice to meet you." The male said with a sweet smile

Lily was taken aback by just how nice the male was. "I am..I'm her half sister. The elder of the half sisters she has. I'm Lily. Nice to meet you too. May I inquire what made you want to agree to be around Kiku?"

"Honestly, a threat that was given to my family. If it wasn't for that threat I wouldn't be around her. I know what she does when she says she's 'working', and there isn't anything I can do to stop her from doing so." Koi said sadly

"You poor, poor soul. I'm so sorry you have to deal with that." Lily said sadly

"Eh, it's alright. It's not like this family is horrible or anything."

She scoffed "That's what ignorance gets you. Tonight that is seriously about to change. There's a reason you've never seen me in the house and you're about to find out tonight."

Koi looked at the female confused but didn't say anything else otherwise. As dinner was served the two children saw what Lily had and whined out. "Why does she get a different meal than us! We want that!" One of the kids whined out

Marco spoke up and shook his head "That is your aunt Lily, she has a health diet that makes her not be able to eat normal foods. Do you want to be without a good auntie?"

Lily was stunned that Marco actually stood up for her as she ate. The two kids shook their heads before Marco looked at Lily. "I've been keeping tabs on you Lily, Honestly I'm glad you don't go by your dead name anymore. I hate that our shit grandmother did that to you. You deserve to have a name that doesn't tie you to a family that disowned you for being a sweet loving teenager towards our only living elder that gave a fuck about you."

Lily teared up hearing what her brother said "S-So you don't hate me for taking care of her?"

"Pft-hell no, I just wished our parents would have let you speak your peace instead of beating the shit out of you. You didn't deserve that or the two shitty engagements that were forced onto you."

Lily felt like crying as she heard her brother speak. "I...I was given the impression that you and the other two hated me because I didn't give our parents what they didn't deserve. T-That's not true is it?"

"At least for me? No, not at all. I don't live here anymore. I'm merely visiting since father and mother told me that you'd be here. I wanted to see how you were doing. Seeing that you've changed so much of yourself...it makes me happy to see that you've become such a grown adult over the years." Marco said shaking his head

"T-Thank you brother...It...it truly does mean a lot that you'd actually think such a way towards me."

"I'd never treat either one of my daughters the way that our parents treated you. So I understand just how bad things had gotten all those years ago...speaking of which. Mother, you owe Lily a lot." Marco said seriously

Saya said nothing as she looked down at her plate ashamed, Daichi on the other hand spoke up. "I want to hear from you sweetie, just what intentions did you have for what my grandmother gave you?"

"First I didn't know what that woman would have done after I told her what you all wanted to do with her. I had no idea she revised her will so I got everything, I was merely taking care of her since she was the only adult that truly cared for me that had the Ashia name. I wanted to give back all the times she took care of me. That's all. Knowing that she had done what she had...well...I had many thoughts of what to do. The first was to make sure our family stayed together. Family is important to me...at least it was before I was disowned and had people threatening to kill me. I wanted to be sure that we stayed together...I wanted us to be in that big place together. I hate being alone, my dark thoughts get the better of me every time I'm alone and not doing anything." Lily said sadly as she had her hands together on her lap

Her parents looked at her stunned, they truly felt foolish for not letting her speak when she was sixteen. It was obvious that she had an entire plan she wanted to place out but because of what they had done she couldn't.

Lily's hands began to shake and Haruka noticed that, so he placed his hand over hers which made her look at him sadly before leaning herself against him as she tried to calm herself down.

"Now when it comes to the money that was given to me, I know there were certain amounts that were supposed to be given to all of the adults. I wanted to give all of you half of what you all should have gotten, just so you all had something to live off of. I felt really horrible that she had done what she had because I spoke up like I had when she asked me why no one else came to see her. Why it was just me, a sixteen year old at the time was taking care of her instead of her children or great grand children. I know her heart broke hearing what I told her that you guys wanted to place her in a funeral home until she died just so all of you could take what was supposed to be yours in the will. I've never once touched that money. My law firm...My chocolate company, both have been started up with the money that I've personally saved up little by little. I didn't dare touch money that I didn't think I deserved to have in my possession. I've been feeling so guilty about what has happened that I almost let Kai kill me when he had cheated on me."
