As Katsuki pulled up to Izuku's house, he glanced over at the green-haired boy who was still smiling from their earlier conversations. The car engine hummed softly as Katsuki shifted into park, ready to say his goodbyes. However, before he could utter a word, Izuku turned toward him with a hopeful look in his eyes."Kacchan... would you like to stay for dinner?" Izuku asked, his voice a mix of shyness and anticipation.
Katsuki immediately shook his head. "Nah, I gotta get home. Don't want my old hag screamin' at me for being late again," he grumbled, reaching for the door handle.B
ut Izuku wasn't about to let him go that easily. "Please, Kacchan? Just this once? We hardly ever get to hang out like this anymore," he pleaded, his big, green eyes widening as he looked at Katsuki with a look the blond could never resist.
Katsuki hesitated, his hand freezing on the handle. He hated it when Deku begged—it made him feel all sorts of things he wasn't ready to deal with. But the truth was, he didn't really want to leave just yet. And, despite his rough exterior, he had a soft spot for Izuku that was hard to deny. Letting out a heavy sigh, he reached for his phone and started dialing his mom's number.
"Fine, I'll stay. But you better have somethin' good to eat, or I'm outta here," Katsuki said gruffly, trying to hide the small smile tugging at the corner of his lips.
Izuku beamed with joy, practically bouncing in his seat. "Thank you, Kacchan! I promise you won't regret it!"
The phone rang a few times before Mitsuki's voice came through. "What is it, brat?" she barked, her tone laced with the usual gruffness.
"Oi, I'm gonna stay at Deku's for dinner. Don't wait up," Katsuki informed her, keeping his voice casual.Mitsuki snorted on the other end. "Dinner, huh? With that boyfriend of yours? Well, as long as you're not getting into trouble. And don't be shy about stayin' the night, either! You can come home after school tomorrow. You're practically grown men now."
Katsuki's cheeks flushed a deep red as his mother's teasing words hit him. "Shut up, old hag! It's not like that!" he snapped, but he knew it was a losing battle.
Mitsuki just laughed. "Sure, sure. Have fun, you two!" With that, she hung up, leaving Katsuki to fume silently.
Izuku tried to suppress a giggle as Katsuki ended the call, his face still burning. "Looks like you're stuck with me tonight, Kacchan," he teased lightly.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever," Katsuki muttered, finally opening the car door. "Now let's get inside before I change my mind."
The two boys entered the house, and Izuku immediately gestured for Katsuki to make himself comfortable. "Why don't you take a shower first, Kacchan? You've had a long day," Izuku suggested.
Katsuki didn't argue. He could use a hot shower to unwind, and the idea of getting out of his sweaty clothes was definitely appealing. "Fine, but you better not burn the house down while I'm in there," he warned, though his tone was less serious than usual.
Izuku nodded, grinning. "I'll be fine, Kacchan. Just relax."
Katsuki grabbed a towel from Izuku's closet and headed to the bathroom. As he let the hot water cascade over his body, he couldn't help but think about the situation he found himself in. Spending the night at Deku's place? And with his mom practically giving her blessing? The whole thing was... unexpected. But he couldn't say he was entirely opposed to it. In fact, the more he thought about it, the more appealing the idea became.
As the steam filled the room, Katsuki let his mind wander to how he might use this situation to his advantage. They were alone, with no parents around, and Deku was always so easy to fluster. A wicked grin spread across his face as he imagined all the ways he could tease the green-haired boy tonight. Maybe, just maybe, he could push things a little further...
