My mother...
My beloved mother...
She was the most beautiful woman I've ever seen with her captivating gray eyes, fair skin, and long straight black hair, always wearing the most elegant styles, displaying her confidence.
She was every man's favorite, turning heads at every gathering or party she graced with her presence...
My mother was not only flawless in appearance, but she also had a heart of gold, always willing to lend a helping hand and show kindness to everyone she encountered. She was selfless, always putting the needs of others before her own.
However, there is a well-known proverb in my culture that goes,
"The red apple will be granted by the jackal."
This saying shows how someone as innocent and kind-hearted as my mother would fall prey to a man manipulative and cunning like my father - a complete jackass.
My father...
He's a successful businessman who possesses a vast empire - a company, three factories, two shopping malls, and several other valuable assets. Standing nearly two meters tall, his daunting presence is enhanced by a tanned, muscular physique and pierced black eyes. It's impossible to overlook his physical attractiveness since he exudes a rugged charisma that commands attention. However, this external charm is where his appeal ends.
Beneath his seemingly perfect exterior lies a personality that starkly contrasts with his looks. As a person, my father is deeply flawed, driven by an obsessive need to protect his reputation at all costs.
Often, his behavior borders on erratic, as he enjoys the spotlight and feels powerful when others acknowledge his perceived superiority. His dominant aura is palpable, and he takes great pleasure in asserting his dominance over those around him. Moreover, he revels in the admiration and flattery of those around him, further fueling his inflated ego and superiority complex.
Their child...
Their only son...
While my father proudly showcased my talents, my mother quietly worried about how I preferred solitude as a child. She tried many times to help me connect with other kids, but each effort ended in disappointment, as I couldn't stand being around them. Yet, she didn't give up. For my ninth birthday, she gifted me a little duck to care for, hoping it might bring me some companionship.
"What's this?" I asked, staring at the small yellow duck nestled inside the box.
My mother crouched down beside me, gently lifting the tiny duck from its cardboard confines. Cradling it carefully in her hands, she looked up at me with a soft smile. "I thought it might be a good idea for you to have a pet as your companion," she said; her voice was filled with warmth.
