Chapter 28

Rashad P.O.V

I had been sitting in this cold room for 7 hours and it was like a continuous cycle, they would ask me questions and I would say I don't know and then they would threaten me and then it would start all over again.

The man questioning me stood up and left the room and I stretched, it was either too cold or too hot in this room and I had just about given up, they hadn't offered me my right to take a phone call and they had taken my phone aswell so I couldn't even contact no one, I really didn't know what I was gonna do but I needed to get out

I figured they were all watching me through the two way mirror and I was tempted to put my middle finger up but instead I rested my head on the table so they know I was comfortable and fell asleep

I was awoken by a loud bang on the table after what felt like hours later even though it had just been half an hour "Mr Wright we are going to ask you a set of questions and all we ask is for cooperation, in return you get your freedom otherwise you can choose a cell mate for tonight"

I leaned back in my chair and screwed him "what do you want you fat cunt"

He laughed "okay Mr Wright we can play that game aswell, anyway does the names Adrianna King, Darnell Epps, Devonte Hall, Issac Adams and London Parker bring anything to your memory"

I laughed did he really think I was gonna snake and even though Devonte was the enemy I wasn't gonna snake on him it don't work like that, I wanted to deal with him myself, I smirked and folded my hands

"Yeah I swear they all acted in that movie umm what's it called... 22 Jump Street or suttin" I said keeping a straight face and he sighed

"Yeah your right their all actors because their not who I think they are, a little bird told me that they are running a drug cartel and a little war is about to start"

"Tell the little bird to shut the fuck up, first sign of madness is conversing with animals"

He slammed his fist on the table "listen you little bitch I know your all involved in this and I have worked too hard on this case to let it go like that just tell me what I fucking need to know and I might let you go" he said breathing hard out of anger

"Woah calm down there son you don't wanna cause an earthquake now, that was quite hard" I said laughing, I stopped laughing and went serious

"But fine... I'll help you and tell you what I know if you let me go"

Adrianna P.O.V

I had called Micah, as soon as I could and he said he would come as soon as his case finishes, I have been here for the whole 7 hours Rashad has been in questioning and I'll wait until he gets let out, I told London, Darnell and Issac what happened and they were ready to come but it's too risky and they might get caught aswell so I told them to stay at home and hide anything in case the police raided the warehouse

I sat down and scrolled through my phone, I was contemplating telling his mum but I didn't want her to worry so instead I called my dad to let him know what happened and he gave me some advice.

I sighed and stood up heading to the front desk "hi can you update me on what's going on with Rashad Wright" i said, she said she normally doesn't disclose information but when she saw I wasn't leaving she helped me and she's quite calm

"Yeah he's still in questioning last time I checked because he's not cooperating, I'll check again" she called in on the room and once they told her she said thank you and put the phone down and smiled

"He may be out sooner than you think because he's willing to give them a lead"

"No no no, please Rashad don't snake" I said to myself and sat down with my head in my hands, if he snakes were all pissed because he knows practically everything about what we do and what's going on.
