For you alone,years long
I wait there in vain
Standing by the shore
Looking far beyond,
Abound by water
In glories of pain.
I sit there gazing at the sea
Listening to the shriek of waves
I look at those horny shells;
Which you once heard it
I drift on aimlessly,
On the sands of time,
Deep down,my heart aches;
For it has survived your absence.
The ship came with it's crew and captain,
The rowboat returned with its people,
The catamaran landed with their fishermen,
But you never returned!
I searched for you everywhere
I waited there for long,
Just then I heard,you receded along with the waves;
And the sea took me to you!
