Author's Pov
Miral entered her room, it was late at night. Something is not right, is it?
She looked outside the balcony, her gaze went to the moon, she closed her eyes. Her mind wasn't in her senses.
She knew what she had done was wrong, she knew the game of revenge wasn't supposed to go on this way.
Miral never ever thought that amidst all the chaos she would end up falling for him, he was different, he was calm like a river, he was one of the best things that was ever hers.
She knew he might hate her for the damage she had caused him, she thought she was chasing after him, she just wanted to break his ego, but in the process she just had broken the two hearts. One was hers and the other was his.
Only she knew how she had spent these 3 years without him, she had cried at nights for him, she was ashamed, guilty for her doings.
It was late he won't forgive her know,
But was it really late? His small gestures, his dimples coming when he was smiling, Life seems so unfair for her at this point.
She hadn't dreamt of any fairy tale, but after spending those 5 months with him, she was dreaming of her fairy tale with him. Those shy giggles, silly smiles, her cheeks going crimson red, stealing glances were just a lie? No they weren't a lie, they were genuine, symbols of love.
The drop of tears came out from her eyes as she quickly wiped them. She wanted his forgiveness but was too afraid to ask for it.
She also knew she deserved this, it was a retribution of what she had done.
She looked at her phone when the notification sound popped in, she opened her phone, before opening the message, she stared at the wallpaper of her phone which had her and Arzam’s Picture.
She opened the message, it was from her assistant that she read the message, as tomorrow she has a meeting with the Sultan's.She knew she might face him tomorrow, she needed to prepare herself for tomorrow's meeting and anyways she needed to keep it professional.

Arzam was doing some work on his laptop when the notification popped in his phone,he read it, it was for tomorrow's meeting with khan's.He sighed, he knew he had to face her tomorrow after freaking 3 years. But does he care?
He hates her for breaking his heart, for making fun of his feelings, he hates her sight.
But Destiny always made his paths cross with her.
He had thought she would change, but he was wrong. She will never change, but still a part of him still cares for her, he cursed himself for falling in love with a person who doesn't even know the meaning of love.
If it was in his hand, he would have gone to another world in which she isn’t there.
3 years and still the wounds given by her are fresh in his heart and mind. Some wounds never heal.
He sighed and opened his phone to distract himself from the wave of thoughts in his mind. He opened his gallery and scrolling through it, he saw his old pic with miral.
How happy they both were looking in that picture but only if she hadn't lied and took her stupid revenge everything would have been good between them.

Arwaan was sitting in the backyard of the house gazing at the moon, thinking of his mistake which he had made 3 years ago.His unforgivable mistake had caused so much damage to her. He regrets not trusting her, he regrets not listening to her.
He should have listened to her at least once. Only he knew his heart was paining seeing her struggling to breathe.
Will she forgive him?
The question was haunting him,
maybe she won't.The pain, the damage he had given to her was unforgivable and he knew that.
She was forbidden for him in many ways and he knew that. Arwaan took a deep breath as he felt his heart getting heavy.
It wasn't supposed to go like this. Or was it?
The feelings were different, it wasn't no longer friendship but something more than it, the affection and care he had for now was new. It was not like a friend but something more than a friend.
He was ready to beg to seek her forgiveness, he wanted her to stay by his side. It might sound selfish he wanted her forgiveness because he wanted to be with her, he wanted her to be his. But alas what a heart craves is out of no one's control.
Arwaan Hyderi didn't want Elha Sultan, he needed her.
And it was crystal clear for him, he needed those fight with her on those silly things to keep his mind sane
He needed to be the reason for her smile to believe he had accomplished something great.
And for this if it meant to cross miles, he would do it, for her.
.
.
.
Elha was sitting on the swing that was hanging on her balcony. These 3 years were like hell for her.It made her broken, guilty, and snatched everything from her. Again, the tears were streaming down her eyes, as she was thinking of that night.
No one trusted her, except a few.
She wasn't at fault, she tried to let them understand this but they didn't.
The wounds of that night can never heal, never.
She had gotten so far away from her family, they thought it didn't affect her, but it does.
And Arwaan? She met with him on regular bases, but those meetings were nothing but professional.
His taunts between an argument always shatter her heart, will he ever be able to believe her?
She had lost her hopes. She thought Arwaan might trust her, but he didn't. He broke their years of friendship in seconds without even listening to her.
Her own mother and brother didn't listen to her, why would he?
But again, She was tired of going through all this, she wanted it to end, she can't handle it anymore.
She feels like someone had dipped the needle in her heart while thinking or listening to that accident.
It's not the person's action that hurts, it's the love for them which does.
