Sunoo, the teacher who was gone overseas without telling anyone, came back.

Standing in the room surrounded by his students, the first thing he asked was the situation and conditions of people dear to him.

Hearing about the fun during the time he was done.

But when it came to you, he felt nervous to ask about your condition.

"What about Y/N?" His heart started beating fast when the room turned silent.

He is about to rampage, but then you arrived, carrying bags of food.

The relief he experienced at the sight of you carrying bags of food and looking unharmed was immense.

He quickly returned to his usual confident demeanour, trying to hide the genuine worry he had felt just moments ago.

He leaned against the wall, his signature smirk plastered on his face. His eyes darkened a bit as he assessed your appearance, taking in every detail. He felt the familiar clinginess towards you, his protective instincts flaring up once again.

"Well, look who finally decided to show up."

"S-sunoo?"

His smirk widened at the sound of his name leaving your lips. He pushed himself away from the wall and walked towards you, closing the distance between you two.

"You took your sweet time, didn't you? I've been waiting for you to show up." He said, his voice dripping with a hint of tease and playful annoyance.

Seeing your soft expression made his heart flutter for a moment, but he quickly masked it with his usual playful smirk.

"Don't give me that look." He chided, his tone a mix of mock irritation and affection.
"You should know by now that I hate it when you show up late."

You tell the kids to eat the food you bought them while you talked with Sunoo.

As the kids eagerly dig into the food you've brought, Sunoo crosses his arms and watches them hungrily devouring the food. But soon, his focus is back on you, his gaze unwavering.

"What took you so long?" He asks, his voice quieter so only you could hear. There's a hint of genuine wonder and worry in his tone, masked by his usual playfulness.

"I was bringing food.. I didn't know you were here, Sunoo."

He lets out a soft chuckle at your response.
His eyes soften for a moment, but he quickly shakes his head, maintaining his cool demeanour.

"Always the responsible one, aren't you?"
He teases, a smirk playing at the corners of his lips. "But seriously, I missed you."

As you lean into him, he wraps his strong arms around you, pulling you closer to his chest.

Feeling you in his arms, he can't help but feel relieved and a bit sentimental himself. He gently runs his fingers through your hair, his voice softer than before.
"Hey, hey. No crying." He says, gently patting your head. "I'm here now, aren't I? Besides, you know I hate seeing you cry."

"You were gone for so long."

He tightened his embrace as he heard your words, his heart clenching at the thought of being away from you for so long.

He rested his chin on top of your head, his voice a mix of comforting and possessive.
"I know, I know." He murmured, his tone filled with a hint of guilt. "I missed you too, a lot more than you think."

He pulled away slightly to look at you, his blue eyes meeting your gaze. There's a hint of vulnerability in his usually confident demeanour.

"I don't ever want to be away from you that long again." He confesses, his voice soft but firm. "I hate not being able to be there with you, and the thought of something happening to you.."
