"Ah! Mr. Tress. Hello. Come sit. You too Mr Gunston." Mr. Bartin replied.
Hunter rolled his shoulders back then said "I'm fine. Why are we here?"
Mr. Bartin chuckled. "Well I do need to make a call but... It was good to see you yesterday. Especially your daughter." Hunter shifted uncomfortably and watched him. "Now that you know of things and how much trouble we're in. I'm going to send you to the portal between worlds. With this labrador" He motioned to the lad that had been trying to hurt Gray and Aubrey just a few seconds ago.
The lad was next to Hunter, sitting down and then looked up to him and nodded. 'He's sending you home, basically.'
'Kinda thought that' Hunter thought.
"Now that you know this you'll also need a guide-" Mr Bartin began but was interrupted by a new figure in the doorway behind them.
"Right here" A cold yet gentle masculine voice said. Hunter turned to see the guy they had passed in the hallway when they were running to Ms. Mortar's classroom. The man looked to be about twenty-one. He had short brown hair that was straight. His ivy green eyes stood out from his pale skin. He had a short nose and thin lips. He was wearing a plain red t-shirt with a flannel jacket. His ripped jeans showed his knees and parts of his legs, they looked like twigs. The man was smiling when he walked over and stood next to the labrador. The man squatted and patted the dog's head. "Good boy."
The labrador barked and rubbed his head into the man's hand. The man smiled and then looked at Hunter and put his free hand out to shake, he was taller by an inch. "Lucas Shell, Your Highness."
Hunter felt Atlas, Willows, and Gray's eyes on him. He hadn't told them he was royalty yet. "Dad? What does he mean by that?" Aubrey asked, grabbing his hand.
Hunter looked down to her. "Sweetheart... Were royalty. Somehow."
"Should I be bowing then?" Hunter heard Atlas say. He turned to him and shook his head. "No, it's fine. You're a friend, you too Willow and Gray" He said turning to them.
Atlas smiled and Willow nodded. Hunter was going to stay something else when a hand connected to the space in his back. Hunter turned to see Lucas there.
"We should start heading, Your Highness. It's better to get there early and then rest while they get the portal ready." He told them, well Hunter as he was looking only at Hunter.
"Ha... you're right. Can't have them waiting for you any longer. They have been waiting for you for twenty three years to come back." Mr. Bartin agreed with him. Huh? What was going on?
"I just came though two days ago, it should take at least a week for it to get running again. Come on" Lucas replied, moving his hand to his shoulder.
"Hold on Lucas. Some of them aren't in quite as comfortable clothing as they wish" Mr. Bartin said.
Lucas turned to Mr. Bartin. "Really? The only one who needs to change is the woman" Lucas turned to Willow and rolled his eyes at her dress. "Maybe she should have thought about it before coming to school."
Willow blinked at him. "That's kinda rude." She told Lucas.
Hunter nodded. "It is quite rude. Women can wear what they want."
Lucas turned to him. "I'm sorry, Your Highness." He said, dipping his head.
"You shouldn't be apologizing to me but Willow." Hunter said, waving a hand at Willow.
Lucas scoffed and sighed. "I'm sorry." He turned to Willow and nodded his head. "I'm... Sorry." He said, hesitantly.
Hunter was going to speak up when Willow giggled. "Apology accepted."
