The kiss left Jungkook breathless, suspended between confusion and desire. Taehyung's lips were soft but commanding, moving against his with a hunger that made Jungkook's knees weak. It wasn't a rushed kiss—it was slow, deliberate, as if Taehyung wanted to savor every second. Jungkook’s hands hesitated at first, hovering near Taehyung’s chest before finally clutching the fabric of his shirt, pulling him closer.
Jungkook’s thoughts raced, battling between reason and instinct. He knew this was complicated, tangled with emotions he hadn't yet processed, but in that moment, he felt safe—protected in a way that was different from anything he’d ever known. Taehyung’s presence was overwhelming, yet it quieted the noise in Jungkook’s mind.
When Taehyung finally pulled back, his breath was warm against Jungkook’s face, their foreheads resting against one another. The room felt charged, the air thick with something between them—something neither of them could deny any longer.
Taehyung’s thumb brushed gently against Jungkook’s lower lip, his eyes dark and intense. “Are you okay?” he asked, his voice low, filled with concern despite the fire in his gaze.
Jungkook’s heart raced. He wasn’t sure how to answer. His mind told him to slow down, to think things through, but his body was already leaning into Taehyung’s warmth. “I don’t know,” he admitted softly, his voice barely a whisper. “I didn’t expect this.”
Taehyung’s expression softened, a small smile playing at the corner of his lips. “Neither did I,” he confessed, his hand sliding from Jungkook’s cheek to the back of his neck, his touch soothing. “But I’ve wanted it for longer than I care to admit.”
Jungkook swallowed hard, his thoughts swirling. There was a lot he didn’t know about Taehyung—his past, his motivations—but in that moment, none of it seemed to matter. The only thing that mattered was the way Taehyung was looking at him, like he was something precious, something to be cherished.
Slowly, Jungkook pulled away, though the air between them remained charged. “Taehyung…” he started, unsure how to voice the conflicting emotions inside him. “This is happening so fast. I don’t know if I’m ready.”
Taehyung nodded, his eyes never leaving Jungkook’s. “I understand,” he said softly. “I won’t push you. You don’t have to be ready now.” His fingers lightly traced the curve of Jungkook’s jaw, a touch that sent a thrill down his spine. “But I want you to know that I’m here. I’m not going anywhere.”
Jungkook felt his chest tighten at Taehyung’s words. There was sincerity in his voice, a quiet reassurance that calmed the storm inside him. “Thank you,” he whispered, his voice quite
Jungkook stepped back slightly, trying to collect his thoughts. The warmth of Taehyung’s hands still lingered on his skin, leaving a tingling sensation. His mind was clouded, but beneath all the confusion, there was something undeniable—a pull toward Taehyung, something magnetic that he couldn’t quite explain. His bodyguard’s gaze never wavered, still intense, still filled with something dark yet comforting.
“I just…” Jungkook began, running a hand through his damp hair. “I don’t know if I should feel this way. Things have been so chaotic with everything going on—the stalker, the threats. I’m scared, Taehyung.”
