"Congrats Kara, bida ka na naman. Dati pangarap mo lang mapasama sa artista kahit side character lang, but look at you now, a star in the showbiz industry," Mia said, her voice laced with a bitterness that Kara couldn't help but notice.

"Ako kaya kailan kaya ako magiging bida? Nakakapagod na din kasi maging kontrabida, paulit-ulit na lang," dagdag pa na sabi ni Mia, her eyes flitting to the side as if searching for something.

"Malapit ng mangyari yan, basta wag ka lang mawalan ng pag-asa. Ang galing-galing mo din kaya" sambit ni Kara dito and Mia just plastered a little smile on her lips.

A shiver ran down Kara's spine. She knew Mia's envy was real, but there was something else in her eyes, a glint of something darker, something that made Kara uneasy.

"Babe!" Carl's voice cut through the tension, and Mia's face instantly brightened.

"Oh, hayan na pala sundo ko," she said, her smile wide and dazzling as she turned to face the approaching man.

"Oiii hi Kara," Carl said nang nakalapit na siya sa dalawa.

"Hello din Carl, kamusta?"

"Okay lang, ikaw ba?" Maliglig na sagot ni Carl kay Kara.

"Okay lang din," sagot ni Kara sa tanong nito, pero sa isip niya mas okay pa sana siya kung siya ang girlfriend nito kaso heto wala na siyang magagawa kundi tanggapin ang katotohanan. Besides Mia is her bestfriend and she should be happy with her dahil nahanap na niya ang lalaking para sa kaniya na mamahalin sya ng buong buo.

The reason why Kara enter as an actress it's because of Carl. Artista kasi ito at pangarap niyang mapansin nito at ma-pa sa kaniya, kaso iba ang nangyari. Oo nga na pansin na siya nito, kaso hanggang duon nga lang ang lahat dahil kay Mia.

"Ah mabuti kung ganun, una na pala kami ni Mia."

"Sige2," Kara managed to say even though her heart sinking watching them too sweet.

"Bye Kara. Kita kits nalang bukas," Mia

"Yeah. Kita kits," sambit ni Kara na parang walang gana.

Later that night, as Mia settled into her luxurious apartment, a sense of satisfaction washed over her. She had finally achieved her dream, but it wasn't enough. Kara's success still gnawed at her, a constant reminder of her own perceived failures.

"She'll be gone soon," she whispered to herself, a cold glint in her eyes.

"Just remember, we're in this together."

Kara's phone slipped from her hand as she listened to the conversation, her heart pounding in her chest.

Mia, Kara, Carl and Samantha never exist in real life it was just just part of Abi hallucinations dahil na-baliw ito. Si Abi ay nangangarap maging artista at may baklitang nagpakilalang manager sa kanila, sabi pa nito gagawin niyang star sa showbiz industry ang dalaga at huwag ng mag-alala sa pag-aaral dahil pwede naman ito mag-home schooling. Tsaka higit sa lahat makakatulong pa siya sa pamilya niya kaya sumama siya.

Naging star nga si Abi, pero star ng mga lalaking hayok sa bagong putahi. Tamang-tama si Abi dahil virgin, maputi, makinis at higit sa lahat maganda.

"Ikaw, hanggang saan ang kaya mong gawin para sa pangarap mo?" Huling salita na narinig sa screen bago ito pinatay.

"Shemay nakakatindig balahibo yun ah, ang galing mo Maggie kaya pala naging best script writer ka e," na-aamaze na sambit ni Kissie.

"Aray, ano ba 'yan!" Maggie napa-singhap nang matisod siya sa kanyang sariling mga paa.

"Nakakainis naman, ang clumsy ko talaga," bulong niya sa sarili. Pero sa isip niya, "Ano ba 'tong nangyayari sa'kin, parang may mali e."

She was in her office, surrounded by stacks of scripts and half-eaten takeout containers. The air was thick with the scent of coffee and stale cigarettes. She was supposed to be working on her latest project, a dark, psychological thriller, but her mind was a jumbled mess.

"Parang may kulang," she muttered to herself, staring at the blank screen of her laptop.
