Elle's POV

When I was showering, I was thinking about how the Henry-chapter had to be closed with immediate effect. I was ready for that now. As for Kylie, maybe before we leave for college I will tell her everything and apologize.

Riley went to sleep over at a friend's house for two days. I was surprised that she went to a sleepover, she said that she did not want any friends around here. I did not know the friend but hopefully she would have fun there.

When I got to school, I went to the vending machine to get myself some snacks before going to Mrs. Nelson's class. I was the third person at school and the people I hung out with had not arrived yet which is why I went to Mrs. Nelson's class. I ate the snacks while I had a conversation with her. She told me that Janine's car broke down so her sister, Jane would be bringing her to school but they would be late.

"Are you excited for college Elle?" Mrs. Nelson asked.

"Yes ma'am."

"Which one are you going to?"

"Madelaine University." I told her what I wanted to study as well.

"I'm excited for you. You must behave and not change alright? And you must be careful with the boys Elena dear."

"Don't worry, I'll be alright."

"Are you and Kylie going to the same varsity?"

"No, she is going to a fashion school near her sister's."

"Her sister Kim?"

"Yes ma'am."

"I taught her too, she was a very good student. Her traits were just the same as Kylie though. I heard she is married."

"She is married and has a four year-old daughter."

"That's adorable. They grow up too fast. I'm sorry that the principal is making you guys work when you should be on holiday."

"It's okay Mrs. Nelson. It's our fault for losing the books anyway. I just hoped that he would favor us since he is our friend's father." She laughed at the idea and apologized again. Her laugh was so carefree and hysterical. Mrs. Nelson was such a pretty lady, no sign of aging anywhere on her face.

Janine walked in a few minutes later.

"Hi mom, hey Elle." She kissed her mom on her cheek like she did not see her earlier that morning.

"Mom, Jane said to tell you that she bought the stuff you asked her to buy and she will be coming to bring you your lunch later today."

"Brilliant." Mrs. Nelson responded.

I started to wonder how it was at their house with their dad and Mrs. Nelson's other kids at the house. How their dinner table was, was it the same as Kylie's house? Or mine? Or did it have its own unique touch to it? They looked so happy and so fond of each other, like they were more of best friends than mother and daughter. I smiled as I saw the picture in front of me.

"So, what can we help you with Mrs. Nelson?" I asked.

"Pack up those books and throw them away, they are really old, Mr. Peterson bought new textbooks and they are in those boxes so you guys will need to repack the new ones on the shelves and..."

"There's a "and"?" Janine whined.

"Yes, and you need to fix up the freshman's class lists and see if they are in order and all the names are there." She continued.

"So we are doing the administrator's job now?"

"You wouldn't Janine if you had handed in your literature books right? Now start up girls."
