Maggie opened her eyes with a gasp, Mike standing in front of her in complete relief. "Thank God." Mike says as he hugged the girl close, tears staining the girl's cheeks.
"Where's Will?" Maggie questioned. "With his mom." Dustin says as Maggie nods, wiping her tears away.
"Were you there with him?" Lucas questioned softly, Maggie simply putting her head in her hands. "I gotta get home." Maggie says as she walked back inside the building, Max and her boys following her.
"But Maggie." Mike starts, but when he saw the look on her face, the absolute fear, and sadness that painted her features.
"Do any of you need a ride home?" Maggie questioned as she ran a hand through her hair. The kids all chorused out some form of 'yes' Maggie nodding as she slung her bag over her shoulder.
Maggie dropped off Lucas, Max, Dustin, then Mike. The girl making sure they were safe before she drove off, heading for the cabin.
"Hey." Hopper says as he sees Maggie walk over, but the girl was so rattled she simply walked past him, walking towards her and El's room, shutting the door with her abilities.
Maggie finally let everything out, the girl started to hyperventilate as the images of the shadow entering Will's body resurfaced in her mind.
He looked so scared, he wanted it to leave him alone, hell she wanted it to leave him alone too. But she couldn't do anything, he made sure she couldn't do anything.
"Hey, kid." Hopper says from the other side of the door. But when Maggie didn't respond he sighed.
"I may not know what happened today...but I'm sorry. Everything you've gone through and having to relive it must be scary." Hopper says as Maggie walked over, opening the door.
The chief stood there, observing her teary eyes. "It was bad." Maggie croaked out, Hopper nodding solemnly.
"Come here." Hopper says as he opened his arms, hugging the teen close. The love that Maggie felt from the hug was overwhelming, it just made her cry more.
"Thank you." Maggie says softly, noticing the tear stains on his uniform. "Don't worry about it, kid. I'll always be here." Hopper says as he ruffled her hair.
Maggie smiled softly as she watched the man she considered to be her father walk out and stand on the porch, waiting for El's return.
The sun had set a little while ago, Maggie's nerves were heightened as she waited on the couch, watching as Hopper grew more and more irritated.
But then the sound of the door opening made her turn around, seeing El walk in with Hopper on her tail.
""Friends don't lie." Isn't that your bullshit saying?" Hopper questioned as El simply went to their room, attempting to shut the door, but Hopper caught it.
"Hey, hey! Hey! Don't walk away from me!" Hopper shouts as he slammed the door open. Maggie watching in shock.
"Where'd you go on your little field trip, huh?" Hopper questioned as El took her coat off, refusing to answer him.
"Where? Did you go see Mike?" Hopper questioned, Maggie remaining quiet knowing that's exactly what she did.
"He didn't see me." El answered simply. "Yeah, well, that mother and her daughter did and they called the cops." Hopper says as he walked into the bedroom, out of Maggie's sight.
"Now, did anyone else see you? Anyone at all? Come on, I need you to think!" Hopper exclaims in exasperation.
"Nobody saw me!" El seethes, Maggie watching as Hopper moved to stand back in her sight. "You put us in danger. You realize that, right?" Hopper questioned, running a hand down his face.
