Nora was brilliant

Nora was brilliant. Such kind of brilliance that even scared her parents.

She was not only intelligent but strikingly beautiful. Yet, despite these attributes, Nora had no friends. And she preferred it that way.

"Friends are boring," she would say nonchalantly whenever her mother urged her to be more social. "I want a beast."

Her mother would stare in shock at her daughter's words. "Beasts are dangerous, Nora. They're bad, unpredictable."

Nora, unbothered, would simply shrug. "Not the one from Beauty and the Beast." She'd then run off to her room, clutching her worn fairytale book, where she'd spend hours daydreaming about an extraordinary love- something far beyond the mundane lives of those around her. A love that transcended the ordinary, one touched by magic.

She wanted something supernatural. A love that could be eternal, filled with power and passion- a superhuman lover. Those childish dreams never faded, only growing stronger as she matured. And to fulfill those dreams, she did the unthinkable.

Nora had abducted a man.

It was a year ago now. His previous life was irrelevant, and his old name was discarded. He was hers now, a new person shaped by her hands.

"You're Ethan," she said firmly to the man she had resurrected from oblivion, after a year of brutal, illegal experimentation. He sat, dazed, his face pale, and his eyes dull with confusion as he rubbed the stitches across his forehead.

"I- I don't remember anything." His voice cracked. "I feel- weird. Do I know you?"

Nora's lips curved into a small, satisfied smile. When she had first taken Ethan, he had been a regular man-ordinary, forgettable.

But now, he was something entirely different. Super speed, super strength, and the ability to manipulate others. He was no longer ordinary. He was her masterpiece.

Her monster!

Her beast!!

But like all great creations, he had a flaw-a dangerous one. Ethan now required blood to survive. Without it, his body would betray him, sending him into violent seizures and crippling palpitations.

It had taken years of grueling work, countless failed experiments on mice, but she had succeeded. She had given life to her dreams.

"You're Ethan," she repeated, her voice like silk. "You were in an accident. This is your home."

Ethan's brow furrowed, his confusion deepening. "I- I don't understand. This doesn't feel right-"

His voice trailed off as a wave of weakness washed over him. He was too frail, too disoriented to fight or argue. His head pounded with an unfamiliar pain.

Nora leaned closer, her warm hand covering his, her touch almost gentle. "It's okay," she whispered. "I'm your girlfriend Nora, and this is our place. You belong with me."

The words lingered in the air, wrapping around Ethan like a binding spell. Despite his confusion, his mind-erased and reconstructed-accepted her truth. He could feel something deep inside him stir, something primal. His new instincts were beginning to take hold.

He looked into her eyes, searching for familiarity, but all he saw was darkness, and yet- he felt drawn to her. To the warmth of her hand, to the calm certainty in her voice.

"I- I'll try to remember, Nor- baby" he muttered, his voice weak.

Nora smiled again, pleased. She had created him, molded him, and now, Ethan was hers. A beast born from her will, and she would ensure he remained under her control.

But what Ethan didn't know-what Nora had yet to reveal-was the hunger he would soon feel. The hunger for blood.

 The hunger for blood
