CHLOE'S POV
———————————————————————————
When I woke up, Red was no longer there. I felt incredibly nauseous and ended up vomiting. The weakness engulfed me, and I despised it. I took a few sips of the water Red had brought me and noticed a note from her on the nightstand. It said how she loved me and her hopes that I would feel better soon. I smiled and set it aside in my nightstand, intending to add it to my diary when I was feeling better. To fill the silence in the room, I turned on the TV and snuggled under the covers in Red's bed.

"Chloe?" I heard Uma call.

"Yes?" I replied as she entered the room.

"How are you feeling? Still throwing up?" Uma asked.

"Yeah, I am," I admitted.

"I'm sorry to hear that. I contacted your parents to inform them about your condition, and they want to take you to the doctor after school. Red will be able to accompany you," Uma said. I nodded, feeling another wave of nausea wash over me. I threw up again, and Uma quickly brought me more water.

"Thank you," I managed to say.

"Of course. It's important to stay hydrated. I just wanted to check on you and see how you were doing," Uma replied. I nodded as she left, and I laid back down. As I watched cartoons, I gradually drifted off to sleep.

RED'S POV
———————————————————————————
It was finally the end of the day, and I was heading back to the dorm. Class felt incredibly dull without the one person who truly made it enjoyable. I was also quite worried about Chloe. As I approached the dorm, I spotted Chloe's parents.

"Oh, hi Ella and Charming," I said, feeling anxious that they might be there to take her home.

"Hey, Red. Are you ready to go?" Ella asked.

"What?" I replied, confused.

"Oh, did Chloe not mention it? We're taking her to the doctor to get her checked out," Charming explained.

"Oh, alright. Uhm, yes, I'm ready. I just need to grab a jacket," I said.

"Okay," Ella replied, and we walked into the dorm. Chloe was fast asleep in my bed, cuddling one of my pillows.

"Chloe?" I gently called as I approached her. I placed my hand on her cheek and rubbed it with my thumb. She slowly opened her eyes.

"Hi, baby," she murmured, pulling me into a hug. I smiled and hugged her in return.

"Hi, princess. Your parents are here. Are you ready to go?" I asked.

"Mm-hmm," she replied. I smiled and let her parents see her as I went to grab a jacket. When I returned, I found Chloe was throwing up again, and I rushed to her side, rubbing her back soothingly.

"You're okay, pumpkin," her dad reassured her.

"Can you hand me some water?" Chloe asked, and I quickly handed her a bottle. She took a sip and set it down.

"I think we'll need to bring a trash can for the ride," her dad said.

"I have a smaller one. Let me get it," I offered, quickly retrieving it and bringing it over.

"Thank you, Red. We should get going; we have an appointment," Ella said, and I nodded. I carefully carried Chloe out, as she was trembling every time she tried to stand. Once in the car, she laid her head on my lap.

"Is she okay back there?" her dad inquired.

"I'm fine," Chloe insisted. I smiled and gently rubbed her side. Unfortunately, she threw up once in the car, which was concerning but not unexpected. We arrived at the doctor's office, and I carried her inside. She settled on my lap while we waited for the doctor.
