Samaria sat on the edge of the bed nervously as Lorenzo began to leave for the night for the past 3 weeks since Layton had been born he would go home to his house at night after Layton had his last feeding which was around 10pm.
Samaria loved having Lorenzo here but she felt like it would be to pushy for her to ask him to stay the night since they weren't together and had to get used to technically only coparenting.
Her eyes watched him as he put on his shoes she was silent like she always was when he got ready to leave he just would assume that she was tired.
"I'll be back in the mornin ma around 6 so he won't notice I'm gone" he repeated that every night and she nodded her head as he placed a kiss on her forehead then her lips both whispering an I love you before he headed out the door.
Feeling her heart leave with him she let out a sniffle as she climbed in the bed curling in a ball under the covers she began to cry in the bed tears staining her face and pillow.
She never slept at night just cried until it was time to feed Layton then would go back to her room to cry some more.
She often cried herself in to a headache but she didn't care, she honestly didn't understand why she wanted Lorenzo there so bad Layton was an easy baby he didn't wake up a lot after being put down and was fairly quiet.
She just wanted him here for some reason.
"I forgot-" breezy stood by the room door after flipping the switch when he heard her light cries he quick walked up to bed as she tried to hurry and wipe her face "what's wrong ma?" Looking at her face her eyes were puffy and he could tell she had been crying hard right before he walked in because her nose was already turning red.
"I just have a bad headache-
"You gonna look me dead in my face and lie Ezzy? What's wrong is it Layton need me to take him-
"NO! Don't take him why would you take him from me?" She said as she began to cry harder making him grow confused. "I won't take him but you gotta tell me what's wrong so I can fix it I just thought maybe you were overwhelmed or tired ma..."
Now sitting up in the bed he wiped the tears off her bare face with his thumbs before placing a kiss on her forehead to comfort her. "What's wrong talk to me" he said as it got quiet and he watched her turn to look at the baby monitor but he grabbed her chin making her look him in the eyes.
"Samari-
"Why do you have to leave us everyday? Every night you leave us here by ourselves alone in this big ass house-
She began to panic and hyperventilate at the thought of being here by herself with nobody but Layton and something happening. Her heart racing and her palms sweated and her throat felt like it was closing.
Almost feeling as if she was being suffocated.
"Samaria relax ma I'm right here I swear I'm right here" he said as he began to panic not knowing what to do as he kneeled in front of her grabbing both sides of her face. "Breathe ma" he coached and she nodded her head slowly breathing in an out and he pulled her in to a hug. "Don't do that shit Ezzy I swear to God you just scared da shit out of me" he said as he rubbed her back and she cried in to his chest.
"I don't know what's going on with me" she admitted barely above a whisper. "It's so hard here with out you and it's not even Layton I just can't handle you not being here with our son, I hated being alone before but now it's worse, when you're not here it's like the walls in this house are closing in on me"
He rubbed her back as she let out a sigh crying in to his chest. "Only reason I been leavin is because I know we still workin on bein' togetha' and I didn't wanna over step no boundaries with you especially me being clean now, I didn't mean to make you feel-
