I ended the call and turned to look at Kai.

Adriana :Hey, Kai... What's up, with your Instagram story?

Kai :What do you mean?

Adriana :I mean... People can see that's not us...

Kai : You think?

Adriana : Yes, I know! -I said, chuckling.

Kai : Well take it off! -he said frantically, a hint of urgency in his tone.

I giggled and quickly removed his story.

Adriana :Now why'd you go do that?

Kai : I don't even know... I have no idea what I was thinking...

Adriana : Besides... Where'd you get that picture from?

Kai : Do you really wanna know?

Adriana : Yeah... Tell me... I'm curious.

Kai : Pinterest.

Adriana : Wooooaahhh... Whatttt? You use Pinterest? Wow!

Kai : Yeah, I don't see what's wrong with that ...

He just smiled slightly as if he didn't want to smile.

I chuckled it off and the room grew silent. Just staring at each other as if we had something to say.

Kai : What?

Adriana : What?

Kai : You look like you have something to say.

Adriana : You too, but I'm not being pushy about it. -My tone defensive.

Kai : Well, just say it now, or forever hold your peace. (He says in a British accent).

I giggled.

Adriana : Hey this is the first time I see you actually act human.

Kai : Now that you've mentioned it... I'm never doing it again.

Adriana : Oh come on! You and me both know you're trying really hard not to be goofy around me, but I'd really like to see you being goofy.

Kai : That's like asking to see a unicorn, because it's never gonna happen.

Adriana : Oh yeah, well guess what... It's about to happen.

Kai just looked at me with a raised brow.

I giggled

Adriana : No... But the fact that you thought of that, is proof that you're a goofball. Just like me. -I said between giggles.

Kai : It's not actually something I randomly thought of... Its actually a stupid goofball video I saw on my for you page the other day.

Kai : I'm sorry but is it just me or do you keep changing the subject smoothly. -He said with a confused expression.

Adriana : Sorry, it's a stupid social habit I do to keep the conversation going.

Kai : That's... That's actually kinda cool.

Kai :Yeah... You know... Because my social battery runs out.

Adriana : So you're anti social and nonchalant and an introvert.

Kai : Shut up. - he said pushing my head playfully, making me fall onto the pillow.

Kai : Me? Cute? -He said, his tone dangerously low as he got up and started walking to my side of the bed, slowly.

My heart started pounding in my chest and my limbs started going weak.

Adriana : Y-yeah... I said nervously as I swallowed hard.

Kai just looked at me and his gaze dropped from my eyes to my lips and back to my eyes.

Adriana : what? Why are you looking at me like that?

Kai : Like what?

Adriana : Like you wanna... - I said trailing off when he leans in closer to me, still standing infront of me.

WHAT IS HE DOING??? BRAIN DO NOT OPEN MY MOUTH, IT IS STINKINGGGGGGG!!! NO GET AWAY FROM ME!!! MY BREATH STINKS, I JUST WOKE UP UP!!! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TRYING KAI!?!???? WHY WOULD YOU PICK THIS TIMING.

Kai leaned in closer, and i kept my mouth shut he was about-.... When suddenly we heard someone ring the bell from the door. He stood up straight, he's eyes never leaving mine. He then left, going downstairs to answer the door. I was so relieved and giddy that I quickly went to the bathroom and looked around for any spare toothbrushes, I finally found one in the cabinet and started brushing my teeth. Suddenly I heard Kai call out for me and I walked looked downstairs from the top of the stairs to see who was at the door. Still brushing my teeth I quickly spat out what was left, rinsed and dried my mouth. Put on one of Kai's sweatpants and went. As I got downstairs I found...
