You said in one word, your voice cracking. It was the question he had asked to you a long time ago, but it was also the question you hadn't been able to answer.
Your lips were trembling and you could see how brokenhearted and heartbroken he looked. You could even smell his despair from all the way across the room.
Expunged looks at you. In deep guilt. He didn't know what else to say.
He had done everything. He couldn't be angry with himself anymore because there was nothing left to be mad about.
Your lips were still quivering as he turned around to leave, no longer looking at you. He took two steps before pausing again.
"I'm sorry." He whispered before walking out of your life forever.
It would be a while before your tears finally stopped falling.
Expunged leaves the 3d realm without looking back at you.
When he did return to the real world you knew he'd never come back.
Your eyes were glued to the broken , staring at it for hours on end. When you blinked they blurred. Your vision was red.
A year later he was gone.
The only thing you wanted to do is scream.
How could he?
