Hello! My name is Lorraine Tramain, and I'm a neurodiverse, LGBTQ+ author of stories dripping with excitement, tension, dark themes, and sheer drama. I am also a Bootcamp Mentor. I work with writers who are interested in taking their storytelling to the next level through the Bootcamp Mentorship Program.
What is the Bootcamp Mentorship Program?
It's an established writing community that supports writers through mentorships, workshops, and camaraderie to help them build their storytelling cred. How can someone apply to work with a Bootcamp Mentor?
If you're interested in working with a Bootcamp Mentor, your first step is to visit the @bootcampmentors profile and research all you can. Most of your questions can be answered in their Profile Guide. I also encourage you to join their Discord server and start engaging with the community there. You'll find the Discord link in BCM's bio.Why am I a Bootcamp Mentor?
I was once where you are right now — cautiously treading into the very daunting world of writing and determined to learn as much as I could to improve my penmanship. During the 2022 WCX convention, I heard about the Bootcamp Mentorship Program. The initiative was music to my eager author's ears.
I joined the Discord Server and followed all workshops. The instant connection I had was amazing. Not only did I get support but also genuine feedback. As soon as the submission window opened, I perused all mentors and was delighted to meet several kindred spirits in terms of likes and dislikes in books and also general writing style. I took a shot and, against all odds, I found a mentor and friend in Morgan Rider (neverfakeit on Wattpad).Immensely grateful for my own experience in the program, I want to return the opportunity that I was granted and be to you what my mentor was to me. I want to help make your story shine by providing constructive feedback and help you develop your author voice.
If you're here because applications are being accepted for the current mentorship session and you're ready to apply to a Bootcamp Mentor, read on to learn more about me and when I'm available for mentoring. You will find the submission form linked in the comment section of the chapter titled MENTORING AVAILIBITY & SUBMISSION.
