As they spent more time together, Elsa's feelings for Jack grew stronger. But she was determined to keep them hidden, fearing it might ruin their friendship.
One day, as they sat by the river, Jack turned to Elsa with a curious expression. "Hey, can I ask you something?"
"Sure, what is it?" Elsa replied, trying to sound casual.
"Do you believe in fate?" Jack asked, his eyes searching hers.
Elsa's heart skipped a beat. "I...I don't know. Why?"
Jack's gaze intensified. "Because I feel like I was meant to meet you, Elsa. Like we're connected somehow."
Elsa's pulse raced as she met his gaze. "I feel it too, Jack."
The air was charged with tension as they sat there, the only sound the gentle rustling of leaves.
Then, without thinking, Elsa reached out and took Jack's hand.
Jack's eyes locked onto hers, a smile spreading across his face. "I've wanted to do that for so long."
Elsa's heart soared as she realized her feelings were reciprocated.
"I've wanted you to," she whispered, her voice barely audible.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, Jack leaned in, his lips brushing against Elsa's.
Their first kiss was soft, gentle, and full of promise.
Elsa and Jack sat on the riverbank, hands entwined, watching the stars twinkle to life.
"We did it," Elsa whispered, her heart full of joy. "We found each other."
Jack smiled, his eyes shining with love. "We sure did."
And as they sat there, surrounded by the magic of the Enchanted Forest, they knew their love would last a lifetime.
