Marjorie finished up packing her things, she was ready to go. She was about to leave, when Reece stopped her.
"Reece, it's for the better. We both need this." She told him.
"I know, but I don't want you to leave. You said you weren't going anywhere." Reece said.
"I'm sorry." Marjorie walked out the door, leaving Reece by himself.This is his fault, 'for fucks sake Reece you're such an asshole.' He thought.
"It's for the better." Marjorie words rang in his head.
"It's for the better."

"It's for the better." He carried on telling himself.Marjorie was still stood at the door, her mind was telling her to go, but her body refused.
"It's for the better." Marjorie told herself before walking down the winding pathway.Marjorie got back to her house, feeling the cold, empty air hit her. It didn't feel right. She didn't feel in place.
But it was her place, it was where she was meant to be.
