I open my eyes and wake up to the sound of a slight knocking at the door.

"Butters... Butters, son I'm so sorry. I promise I'm not going to hurt you, just please let me come talk to you."

I look at the door where my dad's voice comes from. I turn my head and see Kenny already awake, with his arm around my shoulder.

"We should open the door. He's not drunk anymore." I whisper. He nods and we get up. I slowly walk to the door with Kenny behind me and I unlock and open it.

My dad stands there with messy clothes and hair, looking ashamed of himself. "I'm sorry Butters. You too, Kenny... I made a big mistake... did I hurt you?" He asks. He probably doesn't remember much.

I shake my head. He sighs. "I'm sorry... Kenny, I'm sorry you were here to see this." He apologizes to Kenny specifically now.

Kenny nods. "It's fine..." He says. I look at him and see that his mouth says that it's fine but his eyes tell me he's angry at dad. I look back to dad.

"Your mother is at one of her friend's houses. Do you two want breakfast?" He asks, still having an apologetic tone in his voice.

I nod. He leads us downstairs and has us sit at the table while he goes to the kitchen and starts cooking some sort of food.

I look at Kenny. He still looks mad.

We sit and wait for the food to come.

~*~After the weekend and the week of the vacation(because I literally have no ideas for it at all)

I walk into my room and flop on my bed, happy to be home. Don't get me wrong, I liked the vacation and was sad when we left, but I was really waiting to get home and tell Kenny all about everything. I smile just thinking about seeing him again.

I... I think... maybe... maybe I like him... I can't keep my mind off of him, and I was told that when you like someone, you think about them all the time and they make you smile. Well I think about Kenny all the time and he makes me smile, so...

I want to go see him again, right now. I don't think mom and dad will let me, though... we only just got back. I suddenly here a voice from downstairs calling me. I rush down.

"Yes, dad?" I ask when I get into sight. He stands by the front door.

"You have a visitor." He tells me. I go over to him and look out the door to see Vinny. He looks at me and smiles.

"It's been a while, Butters." He says.

Dad's standing here, so I guess I have to smile. I do and invite him inside. "Mom, dad, this is Vinny." I introduce them. Vinny quietly asks if we can go to my room and I tell my parents that we are. I lead him there and close the door, looking at him the whole time. "What did you come over for?" I ask him, taking my smile away.

He shrugs. "I was bored and decided why not? I do have a question though." He tells me, walking towards me. "Why did you stop coming to see me? I know Eric won't be hurting you anymore, but why?" He asks, still slowly getting closer.

I start backing away from him. "He told me not to because he would keep me safe now and he doesn't trust you." I say.

"Who?"

"You know who, I know you know." He nods. I feel myself back into the wall. He towers above me as I shrink down a small bit.

"I do, that is true. You know, he was quite lonely this week." I don't speak a word. "What about you? Weren't you pretty lonely too?" He asks me. I shake my head.
