Lamine pov:

Selena was acting weird all week for some reason. More distant as if I did something, which I don't know I did.

Shrugging my head and deciding I won't lay in bed and rot, I decided that I'll go out shopping for my girlfriend.

In seconds I was out of the house and driving to some flower shops and chocolate shops.

1 hour later I was standing by her front door and rang the bell.

No one answered, I did it over again. No one again.

I called Selena "are you home?"

"yes why?"

"open the door for me please"

"oh my gosh it was you!" I heard her chuckle a little bit and her hanging up. Next her opening the door and looking at the surprise in front of her.

"Oh my gosh Lamine!" She squealed smiling, still that smile a little off or am I overthinking.

"Come in, mom and dad are out" she said as I handed her flowers to her and loads of chocolate.

Also a teddy bear in the pack with holding a paper note I wrote myself «kiss me anytime you miss me»

"This is so cuuuteee! Thank you" she says as I was asuming she would be all over me now but no, not really.

"Let's go to my room" she said after finding a vase for the flowers and taking the chocolates with us.

She sat down on her bed, her face a little cold and sad and mine confused because she was just happy.

"What's wrong baby?" I asked taking my thumb to make her look at me

She looked me in the eyes and then broke out contact

"I've been wanting to talk to you about something"

"Oh yeah, what's on you're mind"

"Is this relationship working out you think?" She asked looking up at me again fidgeting with her hands.

My jaw lightly dropped, how could she think that it wasn't working when I just surprised her like this..?

Was she losing her love for me?

"Yeah of course, it's working as I would love to. But I've seen that you've been distant, so I gave you a little space" I explained as she nodded and I saw her holding back tears

She is a sensitive person and I know that.

"Can I ask you something?" Selena said

"Yes"

"You and Lana? What is happening there?"

Oh yeah, I saw it coming to be honest.

"Nothing, I swear. I don't like her, or well of course as friends but yeah. I know her too well to have something going on there" I chuckled a little at the end
