Chapter 4

The next day, Kristoff met with Hiccup early. For the possible candidates for Elsa's date.

"Okay, I found five people" Hiccup said

Kristoff turned to see them. There was a guy with black skin and pretty tall. Other had green hair and was short. Other had brown hair even facial, and was also very tall. Other had black hair and had medium high. And the last one, was bald and was pretty pale.

"Okay, so any of you guys would like to date Elsa Arens?" Kristoff asked

The first guy reaction
"No, guys, hell no"

Second guy reaction
"AAAHHHHHH!"

Third guy reaction
"I've never been that desperate. So no"

Forth guy reaction
"No. Even if we were the only ones in the planet, it still will be no"

Fifth guy reaction
"What!? Of course not"

The bell rang and they didn't get anyone who would date Elsa. So, they walked to Biology class. Today they had to work with frogs. They were working when Hiccup start to talk.

"I told you! Nobody will date her" He said

Kristoff looked around to convince himself that it was helpless. When he saw behind Hiccup, in another table, the guy who stopped him in the Advisor office. Jack was his name if he wasn't mistaken. Jack put a cigarette in his mouth, then turn on the fire and put the cigarette near it. Then, he turn the fire off. But then, his friend, a brunette with a goatee, turn the cigarette off.

He turned towards Hiccup.

"What about him?" Kristoff asked while pointing Jack

Hiccup turned around a little bit. And when he saw it was Jack who Kristoff was talking about, he turned towards Kristoff pretty quickly.

"No, no, no, no. No him. Hey, I listened he sell his own liver in the black market for a new set of speakers" Hiccup said

Kristoff looked what was Jack doing now. He turned on the fire again and was playing joining his index finger with his thumb where the fire was. Kristoff threw a pencil on the table while talking

"He is our guy" He said while glancing at Hiccup

He said it too loud so Jack heard. He looked towards them. Kristoff and Hiccup immediately acted like they weren't doing anything. So, Jack continue playing with the fire.

They got the plan to ask him to date Elsa at their free hour. That was carpentry for Jack. When it was time, Kristoff walked in the classroom with his French book. He head towards Jack and started talking

"Hey, do you-" he stopped talking because Jack turned towards him with the drill on

Jack pierced the French book. Kristoff just nodded and walked away. Leaving Jack with a confused look. Then, it was lunch time. Kristoff told Hiccup what happened while Hiccup examined the hole in the French book.

"How do we get him to date Elsa?" Hiccup asked

"I don't know. I mean, we can pay him. But we don't have any money"

"Yeah, what we need is a backer"

"What's that?"

"Well, it is someone who has money... And is stupid"

They immediately got the idea of who would be their backer. They decide that Hiccup was going to be the one to ask him to pay Jack. They discussed for a while but Hiccup end defeated. He walked towards their future backer table. Hiccup sat down and everyone in the table looked at him weirdly. He pointed something in the table while talking

"Hey, is that pudding? Because here is not common to be-? Oh, okay. I get it" he said when someone push his hand off

"Are you lost?" Hans asked

"No. I came here to chat" Hiccup said

"We don't chat"

"Well I got the news that you wanna date Anna Arens. But unfortunately you can't date her if her sister doesn't"

"Yeah, what is going on? You know someone who can date her?" Hans asked

"Him" Hiccup said while pointing Jack

"Him? I heard he ate a complete duck"

"Yeah, everything but the feet"

"Why do you want to help me? What do you want?"

"If you are in a hallway, and I pass by, you say hello to me"

"I get it, social advantage. Okay you win"

Then, they stopped talking but Hiccup remain sitting there. Hans looked at him.

"We are done" Hans said

"Oh yeah" Hiccup said while he stood up

Then, he walked towards Kristoff. And he asked Hiccup how it went.

"It is okay. He thinks he is the one winning"

"Okay, well see you" Kristoff said

"Okay"

Then, the day went really quick. The bell rang saying it was the end of the day. Elsa had soccer practice that day. And Hans took advantage to ask Jack. Who was sitting on a bench with the guy with goatee. Hans walked there and Jack only looked at him weirdly.

"Hey, I ate a duck last night" Hans said to start a conversation only to it go awkward "Do you see that girl?" He said while pointing Elsa

"Yeah!" Jack said

"I want you to date her" Hans said

"Yeah sure, Flabio" Jack said sarcastically

"Look I can't date her sister if she doesn't dates. You see, her father has this rule-" Jack cut him

"Hey, it is a really touching story, it really is. But seriously, not my problem."

"I pay you twenty dollars for you to date her"

Then, they saw Elsa pushing a girl to the floor to get the ball. The girl looked really hurt in the grass.

"Fine, thirty" Hans said

"Let's see this" Jack said while he stood up "If we go to the movies, it will be 15 bucks. If she was popcorn, it will end in 33. Then at the end, she would like flowers and ice cream, right? Finishing with 50 bucks"

"Hey, it is not a negotiation. Thirty. Take it or leave it"

"Fifty bucks. Or forget her sister" he said with a smirk in his face

"Better be as good you say you are" Hans said while giving the bills to Jack

Then, the bell rang. Saying it was the end of soccer practice. Elsa walked to the bench where she left her water bottle. Jack walked to her.

"Hey, girl. Whatcha doin?" He said coolly

"Sweating like a pig. And you?" Elsa said after drinking water

"Fine. Hey, you know how to catch boys, ha?"

"My mission in life. And now that you say it, I know it worked. The world make sense again" Elsa said sarcastically

"Okay. Then, pick you up tomorrow"

"Yeah right. " She said sarcastically "You at least know my name?"

"I know more than you think"

"Yeah right" She said sarcastically "Very doubtful"

Then, she left. Jack just looked at her while she went away. In some benches away, there were Kristoff and Hiccup who saw everything.

"We are screwed" Kristoff said

"Hey, don't be pessimistic" Hiccup said

"We are screwed!" Kristoff said cheerfully

"Yeah, like that" Hiccup joked

And like this, the mission to get Elsa to date started. It was more difficult than they thought. But again, it was for Anna. So, they'll try their best. Luck to them.
