(Third Person POV)
Y/N shot up from his bed in a cold sweat as blood began to run from his nose. He sat up and wiped the blood off his upper lip, taking a second to see the red liquid before subconsciously stopping the bleeding.
Maki: "You're finally awake..."
Y/N looked up to see Maki, most of her body was burnt and her right eye was heavily damaged, she seemed relieved that he woke up. She seemed to of been sitting next to his bed since the moment she woke up herself.

Before she could say anything else, Y/N shot out of the bed and embraced her. He held her close as if he was afraid she would disappear.
Y/N: "I thought I lost you..."
He slowly broke the embrace and looked at her, Maki showed a rare glimpse of vulnerability before deciding to get into the hospital bed with him. She laid to his side and cuddled with him, deciding to take in some much needed comfort for the both of them.
Maki: "We have a bad habit of worrying about each other."
Y/N: "I think that's called love Maki and to be fair we both end up in the hospital a lot though, it's a good thing we're both uniquely hard to kill. Not that I want to find myself in a hospital bed any time soon in the near future."
Maki was more than comfortable with that explanation, being with Y/N again helping soothe the pain she still felt from her still stinging wounds. But even in this tender moment the report she received on Y/N's actions in Shibuya still lingered in her mind.
When Yuji told everyone what he had done it was like a freight train hit the second years. Megumi didn't want to believe it but Yuji's tone showed he was being completely honest. But even with the higher ups making Y/N as their number one threat the Jujutsu students refused to betray him. Shoko had openly lied saying she had no idea where he was while the new clan head was still under her care.
They all came to the conclusion that Y/N would explain himself and knew he was on their side to save as many people as possible, the big question was how.
After a bit, he got up from the bed and stretched is stiff muscles. Y/N had grown taller and his muscles were more defined, when he removed his hospital gown Maki saw the markings that had formed on his skin from cursed rituals similar to what Sukuna was said to have, confirming Yuji's story.
But of all his physical changes the most striking was how his eyes changed from E/C to red and how it seemed ever scar as well as any imperfection on his body was completely gone. It seemed like he used advanced reverse curse technique to not only heal but enhance his body while he was unconscious.
