We finally arrived got to the receptionist
Mpho:hi mam we are here for our 9:00 appointment with Dr Nkosi
Receptionist:oh okay this way
She took us to her office we got settled and waited for Dr Nkosi
Mpho:I know you are stubborn and you are going to say this is not the way you grew up but please do this for the sake of our baby and family and also for the both of us forget your father teachings today cause they are useless in this generation and do this for you and IDr Nkosi finally arrived
Dr:oh my what a lovely and gorgeous couple what seems to be the problem
Mpho:well my husband here is Zulu and he has pride well he like using this excuse of saying he wasn't raised that way look mam I don't have a problem with the way his parents raised I won't judge their parenting skills but their parenting skills are useless in this marriage and generation who still tells a women in this day and age that a women place is in the kitchen, you are not supposed to wear pants do this do that the way he was raised Is not being fruitful in this marriage I cannot understand mam I am still very young I cannot follow rules that where put in the 90s we are expecting a baby soon this is not the environment I would like to welcome my child the constant fights are draining
Dr:sir what do you have to say
Nkosi;(sighs)I just don't get the sudden change
Dr:don't you think that she is being suffocated by all this rules you put cause you can here from the way she talks that she is slowing getting distant from you Wich may led to affairs as she will go and get comfort somewhere else
Nkosi:hasn't she already got comfort somewhere else
Mpho:this is another thing that I hate about you a person will say this and you get it in another way Nkosi I am trying to fix our marriage without involving our parents I want us to pull through without their help how can I organize counseling if I was cheating and this thing is pissing me off can't you just meet me halfway in this (crying)if don't want this marriage say it so we can divorce cause I am tired I am also stressing you don't even care I am pregnant for heaven sake but I am tired (Dr hands me tissue)
Dr:try to understand your wife and at least meet her halfway with this or just divorce her i think we will stop today
We packed our things and left
