Quicksilver An Enemy? (Pietro Maximoff)

Once we were done with the run I had toast and Natasha practiced with me in the basement. We all were nervous and trying to prepare in our own ways.

We actually practiced. Tony and Steve cut things (chopped wood), Clint spent as much time with his family as he could. And Bruce was alone. Thor, who knew what he was doing.

Pietro and Wanda practiced out in the yard. She was moving stuff and Pietro was running all over the place.

Later that night just the adults had dinner together and Tony walked in with Fury.

We were all a little surprised to see him here but this was important. I smiled and he took a seat next to Pietro, "We need to talk about this Ultron" he said while 'sippin on a bottle of beer.

"Ultron took out you folks to buy himself some time. My contacts say he's building something." Fury said.

"With the amount of Vibranium he made off with I don't think it's just one thing" Bruce said.

"What Ultron himself?"

"Ah. He's easy to track because he's everywhere. Guys multiplying faster than a Catholic rabbit" Fury said.

"Still doesn't help us get an angle on his plans" I said. Someone sighed very loudly. I didn't know who but I bet it was Steve.

Things like this made him upset. Tony made him upset.

This was stressing everyone out in different ways and we all needed a break. But we couldn't get one because the World was in danger.

"He still going after the launch codes?" Tony asked. "Yes, he is, but he's not making any headway." Fury said,

"I cracked the Pentegon's firewall in high school on a dare" Tony said. "I did it for fun" I said and smirked. It was true I was good with computers but they bored me a lot so I focus on different things.

"I contacted out friends at NEXUS about that." Fury said,

"NEXUS?" Bruce asked. "The World Internet club in Oslo, every byte of data flows through there, fastest access on Earth." Tony said.

"So what'd they say?" Wanda asked.

"They're fixated on the missiles but the codes are constantly being changed." Fury answered.

"By who?" Clint asked.

"Parties unknown" Fury answered. He didn't seem curious at all but I was.

"We have an ally?" Bruce questioned.

"More like Ultron has  an enemy, that's not the same thing."

"I'd pay folding money to see who it is" Stark said, of coarse because every thing could be solved with money.

"I might need to visit Oslo, find out "unknown." Stark said, I was just excited to finally have new information and get this started so we could finish it once and for all.

"Well this is good times boss, but I was hoping when I saw you, you'd have more than that" Clint said throwing darts onto a board. Getting the target each time.

"I do I have you. Back in the day, I had eyes everywhere, ears everywhere else. You kids had all the tech you could dream of, here we are, back on earth. With nothing but our wit, and our will to save the world. Ultron says the Avengers are the only thing between him and his mission and whether or not he admits that, his mission is global destruction.

All this, laid in a grave. So stand. Outwit the platinum bastard" Fury finished.

"Steve doesn't like that kind of talk" I said and he turned to me.

"You know what, Reid?" He said. I just smirked.
