29/05/2023 After Raw.

Joel Fatu was walking backstage with a Cheshire grin plastered on his face.

Seth Rollins and Joel Fatu had just beat The Judgment Day with relative ease.

They could accomplish a lot together if they were to ever work with each other, but both sides couldn't put aside their differences for the long term, there was too much bad blood there and it could only be a one night thing at best.

But Joel refused to plague himself with his thoughts on Seth tonight. He wanted to see Samantha before leaving.

Joel entered his locker room, still in awe of this place he would be calling his.

Everywhere Joel would go as long as he was champion, he would have his own locker room.

But now, it didn't feel like his locker room it felt like he was still on Smackdown because the Wiseman was in his locker room.

Paul Heyman was in his locker room.

Elsewhere Samantha Irwin was walking backstage as she tried to find Joel.

She spotted Cathy Kelley doing an episode of Raw Talk with Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville.

She waited out on the side not wanting to interrupt.

Once they finished and the cameras were off, Samantha Irwin plucked up the courage to ask one of her closest friends if she had seen the whereabouts of her favourite Samoan.

Samantha: Hey have you seen Jojo Fatu?

Cathy: Not recently, why do you ask?

Samantha: No reason.

She squeaked out, not trying to let anyone know.

Cathy: I heard he's got a locker room, now. He might be in there.

Samantha: He does.

Cathy: Yeah, I remember seeing him earlier when he came out of there for an interview.

Samantha: Do you know where it is?

Cathy: I can show you for a price.

Samantha: What's the price?

Cathy: Why are you actually looking for him?

Samantha didn't know how to answer.

Should she tell Cathy?

Cathy was one of her closest friends but they wanted to keep it private.

At least Jojo did.

He called her Babygirl when someone overheard them, he hadn't talked to her since he called her Babygirl, which stirred up all sorts of fuzzy feelings inside her.

She had to think of something as her silence was telling.

Samantha: He left his yellow sunglasses at ringside.

Joel had worn those glasses because they were his father's. Not the exact pair but they were what this father used to wear on his way down to the ring.

Cathy: He probably meant to give to a fan. He seemed in that sort of mood.

Samantha: Well, I was just going to make sure, ya know?
