Tauriel kissed Kili as he went into a deep sleep. To a person more focused on the weeping elf, they would believe that the dwarf was dead. This was exactly Tauriel's plan. The king of Mirkwood walked up behind the she-elf. Time to get the act on.
"I want to bury him," Tauriel informed the king without looking away from the dwarf. She looked up at the blonde elf with tears in her eyes.
"If this is love, I do not want it," she whispered, as if on the verge of crying. "Take it from me. Please," she begged the king. As he advanced, she looked down at the archer dwarf. "Why does it hurt so much?" Tauriel questioned with a waiver in her voice.
"Because it was real," Thranduil states as he walked forwards. Tauriel looked up at the older elf as if to see if he was lying. After seconds of reminiscing on what Thranduil, the King of Mirkwood and the man that had told her that a dwarf and an elf could never be in love, had just said, she looked down at her dwarf and leaned down to kiss him softly. Only a few minutes more and he would be Tauriel's and only Tauriel's.
